None of your doing
If I could show you where I've been
Perhaps you'd know and never ask again
Could I forget the things I've seen
Perhaps I'd smile and we would be the same
I can't return to where you're goin'
What I have learned, it can't be undone
Don't blame yourself, don't you know
It was none of your doin'
All my faith got caught in a maze
Lost our dreams in a far a way place
Now that I have seen you again
Can't believe your world's still the same
Sometimes I slip into the past
When life was sweet
I thought that it would always last
It was so easy to believe that all is well
They always catch the thief
I can't return to where you're goin'
What I have learned, it can't be undone
Don't blame yourself, don't you know
It was none of your doin' - Steppenwolf
Spiritual Fantasy
Humanity grew weary
Of it's doubtful state of mind
So it summoned from far and called from near
All the wise men thought to be sincere
To heal it's wounds and make it whole
And the lead the way back to the soul
The charlatans they stayed behind
To count their bags of gold
And some stayed away as if to say
I know that my way's the only way
Afraid to learn they may be wrong
They preach their nothingness at home
But the wise men came together with the hope to free man kind
Of the rubbish that had gathered in god's name
To embrace and trust each other in the search for the supreme
And they found that all their teachings were the same
And when at last the word went round
That all were one and all
Many returned to seek the light
Nobody claimed that he was right
It's sad to know it's just a g
To dream and hope still can't be wrong
From Here to there Eventually
You've filled his house with things of gold
While handing crumbs to the old and poor
And then you preach about being pure
And wonder why we're laughing
In your old way you're trying to find us
But we can't follow what's behind us
Too much blind faith, it will blind us
Though sometimes it's a blessing
But I remember when I still embraced you
A little prayer would ease my mind
'Til I saw that you hide from the misery outside so I left you behind
But all the other teachings
That I've tried were 'bout the same
One grain of truth mixed with confusion caused by man
But since you're around anyway
May as well get you back on your feet again
Get right back up on your feet
Don't ya know we need somebody to
Do some work down in the street
You might just touch somebody
Start to think about today
Throw your robe and staff away
And break away from yesterday
Ah, tell me can we reach you
I don't know, still we got to go
From here to there eventually
While others die up against the wall
You take the time to tell us all
'Bout how we're not supposed to ball
You really are a riot
It's got nothin' to do with heaven or hell
What I do in bed, I'm not gonna tell
What I'm talking about you know damn well
You really ought to try it

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Its everything to me. It explains the world to me and gives me a direction to shoot for.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I really like the 22nd psalm. It is a 'type' of Christs death on the cross and besides being very moving it also serves to document to me that the bible is very much divinely inspired.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because it wouldnt be very good to hook up with someone who is going to drag me backwards to places I've already been since I came to hate them so much while I was there (spiritually speaking). My family didnt work because I was busy extending my 20's well into my 30's and now I have my head on straight. I should be alot farther along financially then I am. I'm looking for someone with their head on straight, who is either in the same boat, or willing to accept who and where I am
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia. In my 20's I moved to Milwaukee and started a family. But i still had a fair amount of wildness in me. Gradually I slowed down, partied less and paid more attention to God. This was a long slow process. My family disintegrated, my daughter became an adult and since then I've lived for a time in Iowa, Back to my hometown in PA for a few years and now I moved to Colorado after my Dad died last year.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Worship duh.....
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I go to work. I do what I need to do to keep my life running. I work on my hobbies, talk on the radio, listen to my podcasts or shortwave and then I read and go to bed. Thats the routine part..... yuk. Not very exciting usually.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To become a couple with a charming, attractive and spiritually whole woman To bear fruit for God and serve his kingdom. To not starve when I finally have to retire. To find good friends, that are worth having.
