Profile for URfriend2004
Who Am I? I am a liberal minded charismatic non-denominational Quaker styled Christian. I enjoy writing, and travel when practical. Right now, I publish my writing on the web. I hope to incorporate this into my ministry. I enjoy helping others become grounded in their faith in a loving God, and in fellowship with those those around them. A favorite verse is "Christ is all and in all" and that "God may be all in all". I hope to see that of God in everyone and respond to and encourage the Light I find in everyone I encounter.

My Ideal Person
I am looking for a woman to share my journey of faith with. She will have a heart for ministry. She is dedicated, and even radical, in her love for God and her neighbour. She is non-judgmental, inclusive, liberal, passionate, spiritually minded and yet practical. She is open to a faith that can be costly, and yet is not reckless. She is willing to discern the mind of God. She sees a life of faith as an exciting journey and privilege.

One more thing. She believes that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God, and the Saviour of the world. (Believing that Jesus is the Savior of the World is important to me, for I am a Christ-centered Universalist. I do believe in Universal Salvation.) Please let me know if we are like minded and in agreement on this.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Concerning my faith: I am a Christ-centered, Independent, Non-creedal, Inclusive Believer, proclaiming that Jesus is the Savior of the World. I prefer a participatory, unprogrammed worship. Ideally, I prefer a House Church because I love simplicity. People meeting in homes, keeping it simple. No name, no titles, no property, no corporation, no salaries etc. - just believers gathering simply, in His Name. The Quaker meeting I attend is a reasonable fit for me right now. I recently wrote an article that was posted on the web called "Quakin Friends". It describes my faith perfectly. I believe in a Christ centered Inclusive Universalist faith revealing the Ultimate Reconciliation and Oneness with God of All people.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
A favorite verse is "Christ is all and in all" and that "God may be all in all". That is the ultimate goal. I hope to see that of God in everyone and respond to and encourage the Light I find in everyone I encounter. I now know Christ in the spirit, not in the flesh. We are transformed from glory to glory even by the spirit of the Lord as we behold Him in ourselves, in others, and all around us .

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I want to share a like minded vision of ministry with my mate.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have been around the world and back again. I loved it and it was life changing.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I exercise everyday. Walks, weights, treadmill. The whole health routine. I take care of myself. I am passionate about learning and discovery. Along this line, I enjoy discussion and interaction. I mostly read about faith, and love in action. I try to keep up to date on the news and developments around me, and like to consider and discuss social and even political implications of faith. I would hardly describe myself as an activist, but see that what we believe deeply affects our lifestyle. I enjoy worship music, bible tapes, surfing the net, and listening to the insights of others. I enjoy both theology and mystical writings. I often feel compelled to write, and spend much of my free time working on my personal web page.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My days are pretty normal. They might be just a bit better though if shared with someone special.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I believe in Tentmaking ministry, and using natural gifts and abilities to support myself and my ministry. Everyone has gifts and a ministries. I would like to be devoted to giving myself to others.
