I don't really live in Mooresville. I use that ZIP as the center of my search area, because I'd like to find someone who lives, or would like to live, in the central Indiana area. I actually live on Indiana's west coast. :D
I am a relatively quiet person, at first. I work my way up to being crazy as I get more comfortable. I enjoy spending time with my family (mom, aunts and uncles, , grands). I enjoy nature, but am a little inept at dealing with the outdoors. I am not a big sports enthusiast, so I don't spend the weekend glued to the games. I do enjoy watching TV or movies when things quiet down in the evening...especially in the winter. I do some home and car maintenance, but hire someone for most of the bigger jobs. I play a guitar...I like old cars and motorcycles...I enjoy singing...sunrises and sunsets (I tend to see more of the latter :) ...gazing at the stars...snuggling during a carriage ride in the chilly fall air...snuggling on the couch while watching a movie...snuggling in front of a campfire at night...did I mention snuggling? :) Basically, I am a fun guy (NOT a mushroom :) ), who is, maybe, just a little off center. And, although I like being the man in a relationship (pretty convenient), I do not have a major ego problem. For example: I can wear a wine colored (pink?) shirt; I admit that I enjoy window shopping; I enjoy watching "chick flicks," though I also like other kinds; oh, yeah! and I will occasionally ride in the passenger seat when a woman is driving! Impressed?! I do still have a problem with asking for directions, though. :)

I'm looking for a woman who is dedicated to God and following his word, who has no children or has them nearly raised and wants to spend time together, who enjoys a simple lifestyle and doesn't need constant entertainment, but who enjoys an occasional night of dressing up and seeing the town...who enjoys being caressed, holding hands, mild PDA. Someone with a good sense of style who keeps themselves neat, unless involved in an occasional messy job. Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I believe God exists as much as I believe that the sun will rise, tomorrow. I am not 100% sure of either, but I live as though both are unquestionable. I may be a little more relaxed in my lifestyle than some...a little more conservative than others. I have recently learned just how much God has forgiven me for and had to readjust my beliefs about my responsibilities for making the world conform to his will. (It's a long story. Just ask, if you want to know.) I don't by any means think that I have figured out how to live the perfect Christian life. And I am very puzzled by the number of people that want my advice on how to do that.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"I will neither leave you nor forsake you." (Somewhere in Romans, I think.) //Speaking of the most important laws of God, Jesus said: "Love the Lord God with all your heart. And the second is like it, Love your neighbor as yourself."
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I think they changed this question on me, because my previous reply had absolutely no relationship to the question. Anyway, I have found that being in a relationship with someone who does not share your same level of committment to
God makes one or both of you miserable. I want to find someone who would work with me as a team to help with church activities and building relationships with others.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up all over the country. I had lived from coast to coast before I was five. Of course, I don't remember much of that. I've lived in the country, in small towns, in big cities (Chicago, Indianapolis). I think I prefer living in the country. I like visiting natural wonders: caverns, falls, etc. I also like visiting touristy places.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Playing guitar and singing (with a praise band or at home)...helping people accomplish their goals...spending time with my family...cruising yard sales and flea markets...planning projects around my house that I'll never get around to :)
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I am on disability due to some type of anxiety problem that causes muscular problems and sleep issues. So, usually, I get up around 11:30, I have a bowl of cereal and take my meds. Then, I will usually come back to the computer for any number of reasons. On a good day, I might get right to doing things around the house. Sometimes I have a doctor appointment in the afternoon. After that, I like to stop by and visit with my older daughter and my granddaughters, when they're home. Around 7ish, I go to a friend's house for dinner and to share some TV/Movie time and cuddle. I usually get home somewhere around 11:30 p.m.; though sometimes I fall asleep and don't get home until 1:00 or 2:00 a.m.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to be sure that my mom and children/grandchildren are well provided for...be of help to as many people as I can...leave the world in a better condition than when I entered it. I am preparing to start a career in nature/outdoor photography while I take some Bible-related classes. I'd like to find the person that God has in mind for me and am keeping all avenues open. When God said, "It is not good that man should be alone.", I'm pretty sure he was talking about me. If so, he'll show me. :)
