Happiness/Love is a choice 1/19/2010
Often we chase happiness/love like chasing the wind and
end up with nothing... Yet, we don't realize that it
is a choice.
Circumstances can be out of wack that we get so overwhelm.
But the way we respond to it, is a choice. Do we want to say,
"God has a purpose on this, I will rest on His promise"
or "This is crazy, God is unfair, I hate God".
If our loved ones disappoint us, we ...

Chosen in Him
“According as He hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
him in love.” (Ephesians I: 4)
This verse is obviously connected with the previous verse;
the ’according as’ tells us so. ’Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in ...

Bond of Spiritual Sisterhood 1/8/2010
Just recently a friend advised me to have strong girlfriends.
He said that's how his mom & sisters survived their
marriage despite of the difference between between Mars
& Venus. They did a lot of fun things with their girlfriends
while their men didn't want to be bothered (watched
games, went hunting, or did their men things).
Not that I didn't have many girlfriends.. it's
just that I ...

of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he

stewards of the grace of God (4:1-11). Why rejoice in suffering?
Because glory awaits us (4:12-19). Church leaders stay
alert and feed and strengthen the flock (5:1-11). Faithful Christians will face continual temptations

"He does not think it enough behind her back to tell
it, but in her very presence He says, 'Thou art all fair,
my love.' It is true, this is not His ordinary method;
He is a wise lover, and knows when to keep back the intimation

Revelation 21:1 And there was no more sea. Scarcely could we rejoice at the thought of losing the glorious
old ocean: the new heavens and the new earth are none the
fairer to our imagination, if, indeed, literally there
is to be no great and wide sea, with its gleaming waves and
shelly shores. Is not the text to be read as a metaphor, tinged
with the prejudice with which the Oriental mind ...

Jeremiah 2:2 I remember thee. Let us note that Christ delights to think upon His Church,
and to look upon her beauty. As the bird returneth often
to its nest, and as the wayfarer hastens to his home, so doth
the mind continually pursue the object of its choice. We
cannot look too often upon that face which we love; we desire
always to have our precious things in our sight. It is even

Golgotha, and the Empty Garden Tomb. At Christmas the Infinite One became and infant, the Creator

sense. To appropriate is to receive, to take to oneself
as one’s own. The central verse of the Bible is reputed to
