I am SO tired of big church censoring me.

big church TOTALLY is NOT taking care of their business here. there are more glitches in this site than in north Korean foreign affairs. the chat rooms don't work right, the blogs don't even work right. there is no 'keep me signed in' or mail messages count or a DOZEN other features that are SUPPOSED to be here.

and yet, some moron has the time to censor my own comments on my own blog.

this is their latest (about why I call sojourner sojo):

'pastor seminar? I attended seminary if that is what you mean.

sojo is a little less gay than sojourner..'

the censorship ban said this was hate speech? we are not allowed to say gay? get out of here. gay was a word long before it ever meant sausage smoking.

DO YOUR JOB BIG CHURCH AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT MY COMMENTS!!!! NOBODY CARES!!!

but a LOT of us care that you don't maintain this website properly

MR. (OR MS.) CENSOR. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU HAVE MISSED MAJOR SWEAR WORDS IN MY BLOG. you are so busy picking nits and telling me I can't say gay that you miss the F word and the S word all over the place.

losers, slackers, dipwads. KEEP YOUR FORKING CENSORSHIP OUTTA MY BLOG!!!

I think big church is brokener than the oprah network.

sometimes there really ARE people in the chat rooms even though the chat room main screen says there are not. the main chat screen will also list people who haven't been there for days, and say there are different people than there are in the rooms.

do NOT believe the main chat summary. GO into the rooms and see who is REALLY there.

or not. farmer mcD is ALWAYS there.

come on big church, SOME people pay to be here. do your job and maintain this website properly. or sell it to me.

I had been saving all my blog posts here, BC has deleted umpteen of them and I keep a running copy. I recently had a major hard drive crash and I lost some data. I had the blog posts saved in word files and they were labeled bc blog 1- 12, I have only recovered 5-12. this is from the first dated post I could find, Nov 8, 2006. I initially came to BC shortly after being hospitalized in july of 2005.

It was 1996, the year after I separated from my wife, and the year before the divorce was finalized. I had taken a job in a very fast paced small print shop where the owner was verbally abusive to me. I previously had a really good job with really good people, but the company had moved 45 miles out of the city and I wasn’t able to keep up with keeping a vehicle up to the commute.

I was thrilled at first to find a job in the city proper, rather than downtown or in the burbs. This shop was just off fullerton and ashland, which was very near to a dear friend, ricky, down the block from the practice place of a band made up of close friends (including ricky, their drummer) and also just a mile away from the gallery which was my home away from home in those days.

As I settled into this job, however, I had to come to terms with a slave driver of a boss who called me terrible names and was never happy with anything I did. Eventually, one day after I had suffered through a particularly nasty tirade, I calmly got up from my desk, grabbed him by the throat and pinned him up against a wall. I told him that I would immediately start looking for another job, that he would apologize to me and watch his mouth until I did, and that he would give me a good reference.

He was a small man (in more ways than his stature) and I scared him to death. He apologized and agreed and I found another job within 3 weeks. The economy was much better then, and I got really lucky too. I landed the job that I would keep for the next seven years, until I was hospitalized last summer and began my current foraging for careers situation.

I have had a court date practically every week since early july when I spent 3 days in lock up. it has kind of shattered this summer into pieces. I don't have one now until the end of next month.

the first week or so I just shook. I have been afraid to go anywhere. if I get into ANY sort of trouble things could get worse fast. I have just been staying home and cherishing my freedom and my place.

I have been keeping myself busy trying to finish up all my half-butt projects around the house. if I actually end up doing time, I will have to get someone to watch after the place and I want it to be done. it keeps my mind off things to stay busy too.

I finished up the carpentry in the basement apartment. I cleaned out all of my construction debris from the greenhouse and the garage. I re-sealed the roof in the problem areas. I did about a kabillion things I was procrastinating about. the place is in better shape than it ever has been.

these pictures are from my new smarter than I am phone

god is good.

the case is continued until next month.

I am really trying to avoid those hanger-on pieces of my old man, my old self, that still have enough power to lead to bad choices. god is there when we seek him, but he will let us be when we seek to NOT seek him. I can ALWAYS think of good reasons to do stuff I know I shouldn't do. I struggle.

how can I love my brother when they are brainless and inconsiderate? how can I NOT look down on prideful people that don't know their butt from the hole in their head? especially when they are intentionally gunning for me, many even to the degree that they are dangerous?

then I will think of the stuff god has forgiven me.

continues to forgive me for.

sacrificed his own flesh that I can continue to be forgiven.

in the parable of the men forgiven their debts, I am the one man that then comes down hard on his own debtors. fortunately, I am also the single leper that came back to say thank you.

thank you lord

The English word Hell is derived from Old English hel, helle (about 725 AD) reaching into the Anglo-Saxon pagan period, and ultimately from Proto-Germanic *halja, meaning "one who covers up or hides something".[2] The word has cognates in related Germanic languages such as Old Frisian helle, hille, Old Saxon hellja, Middle Dutch helle (modern Dutch hel), Old High German helle (Modern German Hölle), Danish, Norwegian and Swedish helvede/helvete (hel + Old Norse vitti, "punishment" whence the Icelandic víti "hell"), and Gothic halja.[2] Subsequently, the word was used to transfer a pagan concept to Christian theology and its vocabulary[2] (however, for the Judeo-Christian origin of the concept see Gehenna).

The English word hell has been theorized as being derived from Old Norse hel[2] but the cognate does appear in all the other languages and has a Proto-Germanic origin.[3] Among other sources, the Poetic Edda, compiled from earlier traditional sources in the 13th century, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, provide information regarding the beliefs of the Norse pagans, including a being named Hel, who is described as ruling over an underworld location of the same name

ok ok ok. this is wikki, but they are right sometimes. this is scholastic history, not the bible. NOT theology even.

ADDITIONALLY, the bible NEVER tells us ANYTHING about the origin of satan. There are several common mistakes that people THINK are about this, but are in fact not. if you want to see ALL of them, please refer to previous posts on this subject here.

I am not saying there is NO satan. I am saying that the majority of the buzz around satan that 'christians' seem to think is part of the gospel somehow, is NOT from the bible. MOST of the satan and hell story in fact did not EVER appear until the QURAN almost 1,000 years after Christ. dante and Milton's works (FICTION), which CLEARLY give the story of the origin of satan and hell.

these are non-biblical fairy tales that the roman catholics added to their traditions very early on and that most Christians today STILL believe.

malvin has been growing like a weed. I have purposely been avoiding taking a lot of pictures of him, it really made me sad to have so many of calvin and then lose him. but I have taken a few.

my camera was stolen when they robbed me this month, and I all of the pictures I had taken of him were still on the card. I took some new pictures of him with my new phone, and figured out how to download them.

this is a little chair somebody threw away. we usually start out on our walks down the alley out back, and when we passed this he jumped up on it. I took it home and hosed it down and put it in the 'yard' next to my wooden bench there. he loves it.

I got my first smart phone today. it is a Samsung, I think called a victory light. I have a regular dumb phone, which most people call the obamma phone, not knowing that it was actually introduced during the bush administration.

I only get 250 minutes a month on it, and it just won't let me call after I use them up. half the time, voice mails, and retrieving them, use up more than half my minutes. last month, I used up ALL the minutes by the 20th of july, and then my 'land' line was down too and I had no way of making ANY calls. I thought I would just go find a pay phone, but there are no pay phones anymore. I guess they have eliminated them because of drug deals.

not wanting to be phoneless again, I looked into cheap alternatives, or additions. it is WAY expensive to add minutes to the obamma phone, and none of the pre-pay burner type phones was right for me either. then I found freedompop. it gives you 250 free minutes a month, which, in addition to my obamma phone should work.

there is some free data and email too, but I never use that stuff on a phone. I am on the internet on my computer enough. the only 'catch' is that you need an android phone to use it, so I hadda buy one with the service (the Samsung).

I have the phone here in front of me now and it is kicking my butt. I figured out how to make a phone call on it, but it gave me a LOT of trouble. the whole 'swiping' thing is eluding me.i accidentally found the camera, but I couldn't get out of camera mode without turning the thing off and back on again. I have no idea how to get back in camera mode.

this thing is sleek and pretty, and it seems really cool, but I hate it. ever since seminary screwed me over I have NO patience to learn new things. i suppose it is time I step into the 90s and use the smart phone, but I think I will just use it when I have to. it is bigger than my obamma phone too, and looks like something that will break more easily.

my is bringing me over a desktop computer to fix that she has problems with. I am good with desktops. I will ask her to help me to learn to use this thing. my all have smart phones.
