oh yeah. I got a new apartment!! and the internet wasn't working in it, but I got it working tonight. I had to buy (from amazon) cat 5 rj45's, and that worked. I am proud that I thought of switching back to cat 5 moduals, when cat 6 didn't work. I am starting to get my mind back...even though I have to resort to things of the past to make things work.

next I will get my magic jack to work and I will have a phone here.

it is just a studio apartment, and it is SO small, but I have been staying in a basement with my folx since last year. god is SO good.

in my last post i spoke about someone who wrote me that i thought was nice, but i am not really looking for anyone right now. my life is kinda hard now, and it wouldn't be a good time to get involved. i am looking to find my joy in christ on a daily basis. that is hard enough to do most times. thank you jesus.

but it says in my profile that i am not interested in anybody under 40 or that lives far away. my oldest turns 30 this month. that is too wierd. anyone who writes to me that is under 40, i do not even answer.

i am a tired old man, you don't want me. read my profile before you write to me.

the military woman from my last post deactivated her account. that was sad. i thought she was ok. i am sorry if you can't handle who i am. i am all i am, but i am in christ and have been redeemed.

NCIS?

somebody wrote to me who was evidentally a big shot in the armed services. she had her pics from what looked like a lot of the people who have been featured as officials who have been under investigation in the show NCIS. she seemed nice enough, and i had answered her nicely, and then she just stopped writing and disappeared.

i am guessing that my blog where i mention my arrest had scared her off.

well, i don't care for anyone who is making judgments. no thank you. we are ALL of us equal in the eyes of the lord. we ALL make mistakes and we are ALL guilty of sin that the lord has forgiven.

i made a phone call to the police for help when i was threatened. i am NOT a criminal. and i have been thru a LOT for that dumb mistake. i will NEVER expect the police to help me again.

I am getting my own apartment again. I have just gotten a new (to me) car, a 2010 chevy cobalt. this is the newest vehicle I have ever owned. thank you god for your provision. I am part of celebration recovery at my church and leading the meeting once a week. I am healing, as well as I can, from my MS problem. god is good.
I am reading his word again, a chapter a day. and being disciplined about it. god is in my life again. thank you lord

I am buying a new (new to me) car. a 2010 chevy cobalt! it is the newest and nicest car i have ever bought. God is good to me. my old car, an 89' chevy corsica made it through the winter here, i am giving it to my future in law. it is still running, but it isn't very pretty.

does anyone still come here?

reading a chapter a day

I have been reading a chapter a day in the bible, since I first mentioned it here. I have gone all the way through matthew and then I started anew in timoth1. we went over timothy 2 at church and I was moved by something the pastor said about how we are not given a spirit of fear by the holy ghost, but of power and love. I have finished tim1 now and will move on to tim2 tomite. then I will pick up again in the gospels in mark. thank you god for keeping me al your word.

i am work today on new years day. it is not horrible, since there is little to do here and i am able to get online, and i only need to be here for a short time. thank god that i have something useful to do with my time, i watch WAY too much tv. i heard a radio sermon that said the best resolution one can make is to pray to do god's will for this next year. that seemed a good fit.

I have been asked to lead a bible study at my new church, celebrate recovery. I have been attending alcoholic anonymous, as well as other drug related programs since I have given up all forms of getting high other than that of jesus since the 8th of januaray last year. it is almost a year now. thank you lord for that and for something else I can serve others with.

other programs acknowledge god, but I think this will be more directed to god. thank you lord for freeing me and helping me find my way back to you.

i have been reading the bible every day for the last week or so. i have only been reading a chapter or so a night, so i won't get discouraged, but i have been doing it every night before i go to bed. i has helped me to be more secure in my fath and to lay my anxieties aside.

even though i have been reading matthew so far, which i practially know by heart, i have STILL read a few things that have made me think. thank you lord, i will keep on reading and praying every day.
