Smart People Can Be So Dumb

I have met several real genius people in my life. They scored in the 98 per cent range on the national merit and were members of the mensa organization of people with IQ's scores in the top 2%of people. When I talked to them it was obvious to me how much deeper and broader their range of intellectual understanding and range of information was than mine. It was like being 5 feet tall talking to someone 10 feet tall. I knew somethings they did not, but that was because I had studied it for a long time.

In most cases these people were not socially at ease so much around others. But, the most striking thing that puzzled me was how little faith they had. Mostly they just had questions, and little assurance and certainty of faith. I thought how sad that they could be so smart and yet so dumb where it really counts. I know faith is a gift to be received.

I believe that everyone is a genius at something and probably dumb in other areas. I am glad I have faith and I would not trade it for the highest level of genius.

Earth Relationships

If you do not like earth relationships...no worry, they are temporary. Heaven is a whole new deal. Its not a lonely place, and there are no marriages in heaven.

Earth relationships are stressed. I know of some good ones. I like the idea of Jesus who loved unconditionally. Even His criticisms were not judgmental, but enlightening to help the poor souls who were so blinded by their egocentric lives.

I don't know about you, but I hardly noticed the heat this summer or that in face we were in the summer season. I always like the fall season as it is the ending and the beginning also of something new.

Is anyone also a student of Kabbalah?

Best wishes for the fall round up as we begin to enter the long string of holidays. Actually, this is probably my favorite time of the year.
