RIGHTEOUSNESS

Righteousness is ours as we draw near to God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is our rock and our salvation and the only source of true and lasting happiness. Psalm 112:1 says, "Blessed is the man who fear the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments."
Delight in the Lord and in His Word, and you'll find true happiness. He alone offers a righteousness that endures for all eternity.

As Christians, we have the same assurance. Abraham's God is our God, and He is omnipotent. He's the Creator of the universe. Nothing exceeds His power. No problem intimidates Him. No obstacle is too big. Our heavenly Father is in control of every situation.

No Love like a Mother's Love

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

NO EXCUSES

Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Roman 10:13.

The truth of the gospel does not depend on the way others live out their faith. Salvation is about Jesus alone. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Some people may use Christians as an excuse to reject the gospel. But they certainly can't point a finger of blame at Jesus. He is sinless and perfect in every way. Pilate said of Him, "I have found no fault in this Man" (Luke 23:14). And Jesus did what no one else could do - He suffered death on a cross to provide salvation for all who believe in Him. That make it tough for someone to say, "I'm not going to become a Christian because I don't like what Jesus did."

Don't get sidetracked by looking at the faults of others.

Look to Jesus. He alone is the way to heaven.

He is the Way, the Truth, the Life
That One whose name is Jesus;
There is no other name on earth
That has the power to save us.

There is no excuse for saying" No" to Christ.

A HUG

A hug is a wonderful gift to share,
A way to show each other that we care;
There is so much a hug is able to do,
When you feel those arms holding you.

A hug is a place to feel safe and warm,
A comfort for a sad heart that is torn;
An expression of the love in our heart,
For ones who we wish, never to be apart.

A hug is a greeting when we meet to say hello,
Or to say goodbye when we have to go;
It can hold us up when life gets us down,
And makes us smile, instead of frown.

A hug can be given for no reason at all,
And given to those, both big and small;
We're never too old to feel the joy it brings,
As it is one of life's most pleasing things.

And for all of this beauty, a hug is free!
It costs nothing, yet means so much to me;
We should all hug another to show we care,
For to feel a warm hug, nothing can compare.

A Mother is Special...

A mother is special.
She's as soft and graceful as a butterfly,
yet as strong and courageous
as a grizzly bear.
Her heart is large enough to hold
everyone's pain and joy.
Her hands are always gentle and soothing.
Her arms are always warm and tender.
She works hard to make a
home feel like home,
and she strives to make life pleasant
and comfortable for those she loves.
She never fails to go that extra mile to
make the holidays happy and memorable.
Her job is the most difficult and
demanding ever known to any human being,
yet she's fully dedicated to the task.
She's always there for her family,
guiding them and keeping them safe from harm.
She owns a magical way to raise
spirits and make everything feel better.
And her sympathy, unselfishness
and forgiveness are unending.
All that anyone is or could ever hope to be
can be attributed to a mother.
She instills the teachings
that will last a lifetime.
She sows the seeds of virtue and morality,
and in the process, she opens up love
and vast horizons.
She's always watching and hoping that
her 's goals will have meaning.
She always listens and tries to understand
even when it's difficult to do so.
She's a true friend in every sense of the word.
She's noble and sublime,
and holds all the beauty of a golden day,
yet even during the storms,
she always shines bright like an evening star.
Her name should be honored well,
for she's the closest thing to God on earth.

Dwelling in God's Presence

The greatest thing that God has done for us is to give us the Holy Spirit. It is for Him to pour out the Holy Spirit upon us and make it possible in our day to have the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit is the Almighty Spirit of God. He's the One Who communicates the presence of God. So many Christians have never really known the importance of that. That's what made Jesus `the Christ.' It was the Spirit's indwelling that made Him who He was. That's the Spirit that makes us of God today. The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity revealed to the Christian. He is one with the Father and the (1 John 5). He is neither less important nor less powerful. He is God and co-equal with the Father and the .

The first thing the Holy Spirit does in your life. He brings you God's presence, and when He does, you will no longer be in the dark. The Holy Spirit has a beautiful identity. He is called `The Angel of God's presence.' He is the One Who brings us the presence of God and makes it real to us. Isaiah 63: 9,10a: "In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed HIS HOLY SPIRIT..." Can you see that? That Holy Spirit mentioned in verse 10 is called in verse 9 `The Angel of His presence.'

In the Old Testament, He represented the Father and the Bible calls Him `The Angel of His presence.' The word `angel' is translated from the word that also means `messenger.' In other words, He is the Messenger or the Conveyor of God's presence. He is the One Who carries the presence of God from place to place all over the world, and He brings that presence to you now. That's the reason we can know Jesus is real; that's the reason we can believe in the Word of God.

The Peacemaker

A peacemaker is a negotiator, a mediator, an intermediary, a go-between, a calmer, a soother, and a conciliator. Jesus is a perfect example of a peacemaker. The Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin created enmity between God and man. Jesus came and suffered the consequence of death in our stead. By His suffering and death He reconciled us to God so that we can enjoy a healthy relationship with Him.
For those of us who have accepted the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and are now reconciled to God we want to consider three areas where we too can be peacemakers. 2nd Corinthians 5:18-19 says, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” If you are born again, God has given you the ministry of reconciliation or the ministry of the peacemaker, to make peace between God and man. This you will do by getting actively involved in evangelism. Tell unbelievers around you that Jesus loves and wants to save them so He can have a relationship with them. Get involved in personal evangelism ‒ talk about Jesus to your colleagues at work or school, your neighbors, family members, and your unbelieving friends. Talk about Him to people you meet at the supermarket, in the gym, gas station, or wherever else you go. Everywhere you meet people, tell them that Jesus saves. Also, you can join your church evangelism team and go out in groups to witness about Jesus. Use every available means to let unbelievers know that Jesus wants to be their friend. If you are a soul winner you are a peacemaker because you are helping to break the wall of partition between God and man. Note that you are not to tell people about Jesus just because the Bible says to do so. Tell them from a heart that truly cares about where they will spend eternity; tell them trusting God and expecting that they will actually surrender to Jesus. To be an effective soul winner/peacemaker you need to ask God to give you a burden for lost souls. When you are burdened for them, you will not just hand tracts to them or talk about Jesus: you will spend time praying fervently for God to remove the veil with which the enemy has blinded their eyes from the reality of their present spiritual state and impending eternal doom. You will even fast because of them, and you will also want your light to shine so that they will see your good works and surrender to the Lord because of your character. Be a peacemaker ‒ bring lost souls to Christ.

Finally, you are also expected to make peace between yourself and others. There are also certain things that must be in place in your own life before you can do this. First, you must have pure, sincere love in your heart. If you love people you want to be at peace with them. Also you must be able to forgive others and put their offense behind you. Do not hold grudges nor keep malice. You must also be able to say “I’m sorry” when you offend others. The Bible says we should follow peace with all men. This involves not fighting back when you are cheated or treated unfairly (but rather waiting for God to vindicate you). It sometimes involves apologizing to the other person even when you know that he/she is the offender and you the victim. It sometimes involves making yourself of no reputation and allowing people to step on you as if you were their foot mat (Jesus did the same, so you won’t be the first). It sometimes involves playing the role of a fool that does not know his rights. You cannot do any of the above if you are a proud, arrogant, haughty person. Please humble yourself and be a peacemaker. Also, you must be able to control your temper. Get rid of the spirit of anger if you have it. It will not allow you to be a peacemaker.
Note that to be a peacemaker you must be careful to treat others the way you want to be treated. Families, work places, churches, and the world generally would have much more peace if we all treated others the exact way we would like to be treated. Don’t backbite, don’t be mean, don’t be hateful, don’t steal other people’s property; treat people with respect, care for others; put your neighbor into consideration when you are praying in the night ‒ don’t disturb his sleep because you just must sing and pray aloud; don’t walk on your neighbor’s lawn nor block his driveway with your vehicle. Romans 12:18 says, “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the of God.” Why did Jesus say that peacemakers shall be called God’s ? You cannot be a peacemaker except you have a heart that is filled with sincere love (for God and man). And 1st John 4 says, “Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” If you say you are a of God but you are a troublemaker who cannot dwell in peace with anyone, or you enjoy seeing others fight one another, or you are not concerned about making peace between God and unbelievers, you need to check your life again because something is definitely wrong. Show me a peacemaker, and I will show you a true of God.

God bless you all.

HOLY BIBLE

The Holy Bible is My Name.
I am a book in elegant prints,
to know my name, here are some hints.

Rich in cover, and nicely bound,
In hearts of Christians,
I'm rarely found!

High on a shelf,
I am kept;
Forgotten there,
I am left.

With respect, I do get lots of kiss,
My main point is what they always miss!!!
Neglecting the message inside me,
At times I am used for phony swear,
My true use is very, very rare!

A miracle I am, that can change the WORLD,
All one has to do, is understand my WORD.

I have wisdom, I have treasure,
so much so, there is no measure!

I'm your savior,
I'm your guide
but who's there to take my ride?

Right from wrong is my fame,
The Holy Bible is My Name.
