just thinking here... kind of a John Lennon thought. of what the world would be like if everyone shared all that they had and all the resources in their country equally to everyone and every country in the world. We would give what we had excess of in exchange for what the other country had excess of
I believe that living in this kind of harmony is possible and doable for this century. Guess I am just a cock-eyed optimist. I would like to be part of this world and try to do my part but I guess I must do more and try harder. Is this earth the heaven that God speaks of... I think so... imo. Can we as a global people put aside our greed and egocentrism and "graspingness" and start to have a Godly compassion and empathy for others who have less than us.. Another thought... do some countries and peoples have less and do not have basic needs being met because some countries and peoples hoard and grasp more... hmmm.. makes me think....

just random thoughts again... hmmmm. I wonder... how it we be if all the people and political organizations dropped all their agendas and egocentrism and xenophobia and just took a look for a second at what it is that binds us together. Jesus broke through the barriers of religion, politics and class status to show that there is a better way to live. He showed us a way we , in this vast, swirling mass of humanity can live peaceably together and share. I think about this every day when I read of the violence that people use against their neighbour on a small and large scale.I try to live that way... but the force of an oppressive power keeps pushing us away from each other... like we are foreigners to each other when in fact.. we are the same... We all bleed the same...

Heaven or Hell???? on earth

Just random thoughts here. For what they're worth. I have been thinking lately about the prophecies in the Bible foretelling the return of God Kingdom on Eath. I have been thinking about this for quite some time. I feel that God 's kingdom has returned and His will is here to make it so daily. I believe that something has changed in the Spiritual realm for the good. I feel a more powerful presence of God in my life. I believe that the Heaven that is spoken of in the Bible is present in the hearts of committed Christians and as we daily do His desire to bring people into His kingdom. And as we follow His lead and listen to the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit His kingdom is recreated again and again..until all know of Him and worship HIm and praise Him for the salvation he eternally gives..
