Chew on this... I was watching a certain President give his speech at University and I wondered that day..."Is this guy for real?" it didn't make any sense that a president of a country would seemingly humiliate himself on national TV. He effectively said nothing about anything. The next day however, I came to understand what the whole thing was about. Now I am a big fan of Joel Rosenberg and Roger Oakland, but I assure you that these are my thoughts although some of them are supported by both of these men. On the next day he gave yet another speech. I would suppose any leader giving a speech at the UN might have some political requests or try to defend his countries actions but all I heard was a call to action for the oppressed nations of this world to assist him in creating enough havoc and chaos to expedite the return of his messiah. The speech at the university was merely an attempt of propaganda to create a bigger buzz and a larger audience around the world for his real speech at the UN. In 2004, the very same man said in a similar speech that the end of the oppressing nations would come about in 3 or 4 years. He has repeatedly stated that his country doesn't need nuclear weapons. He is right! He has hundreds of them in his alliances with a few select nations. One of which is currently re-arming since the cold war. In Ezekiel 38:17-22 an all out attack on the nation of Israel is to take place and be mitigated by God with fire and brimstone. This would usher in the real end times. Could this be an attempt at being the catalyst for the cleansing of the world from the oppressors? Many nations lack leadership that is strong. Many countries are in deep financial trouble. The world is prime for a single strong leader and a one world religion promising hope and peace just as the Head of that county spoke of at the UN. I certainly don't think he is the anti-christ, but he is evil, you can see it in his eyes. He just might open the right doors for the anti-christ to walk right in. I for one want to be in heaven so for me it's good news. Born Again Christians only have to chew, it's those left behind that have to swallow it. Dear Ice Tea, excellent post. glad to see a new blogger here. God bless you. thanks for the info. I think now what we as believers most need to do is get down on our knees before God, repent and do some serious for our leaders, our nations, and repent individually and corporately. Time ticks on... but we need not fear God holds us in His sheltering hands. Peace, namaste, gg
