Why do we do the things we do

Why is it that you pray to the lord for a soul mate. Then all of a sudden you meet someone who lives miles away. They are sweet and caring and you begin to have feelings. Then you get scared of those feelings. And allow your imagination to run wild when you arent in contact with them... Or is this just a thing that happens to me.

 Dear Austeen7, the very best book you can learn from is Romans. Read it carefully, not just once but often, make notes of what speaks to your heart, go back to them, read some more and ask the Lord to reveal His truth to you. Rmemeber, Jesus said, "Ask and you shall receive." But...ask believing that you have already received. He is faithful and will not let you down as long as you are truly seeking.
