Christians who support abortion leaders betray Christ. The election is over with. We have elected a new President. What I find very interesting and very sad about this election as I flipped through the channels..was that the economy was the number 1 issue Americans are concerned with. Many Americans describe themselves as "Christian". Yet they seem to vote completely opposite of Christian values. I even have read polls that showed that a over 50 percent of Catholics voted in favor of electing Senator Obama to the Presidency. It saddens me to know that so many Catholics (as well as Protestants) do not seem to realize that we are living in the time of great murder in our country that has surpassed the Nazi Prison camps of World War 2. For all of you who are reading this who felt that having a Presidential candidate who has clearly stated his support for pro-abortion judges, and still voted for him knowing that, I hope you each examine your conscience. Catholic and Protestant alike. It is a social sin of great severity. Our economy (MONEY) Is not as big an issue as the slaughtering of unborn without mercy. I urge any of you who did vote for a pro-abortion candidate whether the President or otherwise, to repent of your sin. God is mercyful and believe me it was a big sin to commit. Even banning gay marriage was not as important as banning abortion. We know have a President that will ensure that the evil agenda of abortion will continue. Many of you who supported this new President elect will try to justify your vote for him, by pointing out other social issues that bring hardship to Americans. This will be done in an attempt to somehow justify supporting a man who supports abortion. I to often have had "christian" try to justify it by mentioning other problems or the talk of war commited by the incumbent administration (you cannot even compare the loss of life in Iraq to the overwhelming deaths of each year in the United States). Once again I re-iterate, if you supported Senator Obama in this election you have not voted "christianly", I realize no candidate is perfect, however that is no excuse for justifying supporting pro-abortion candidates. This election goes to show that once again, so many people claim to be Christian, but when it came to the polls, they voted for men who support initiatives that go directly against the Christian religion. Time for change? No. This is not going to be time for change my Obama supporting "Christians" It's time for penance. |

Dear Cathoholic, Hi again my friend. As always you hit hard on a controversial topic. You have guts bro. Wow.. and you put things so clearly and forcefully. Unfortunately my dear friend, there is not much REAL Christianity or ethics going on in the higher governmental levels.. It is purely a selfish interest that is going on and so the nation as a whole sinks to a new???level of EVIL and EXTREME self-centeredness. Do not expect it to resolve because of a new government... the residual will still be there. It must be for EACH person to decide to stand up consistently, bravely, faithfully and speak out and live for the way that maintains a faith in something greater than the temporal... So, that is how it must be lived daily.... and the cost may be great... as to lay down one's life ...but not to lay down one's faith and belief...in the face of such Darkness...The Victory is already won.... but each of us must stand firm in our Faith , never wavering and speak the Truth clearly, repeatedly, and LIVE it out daily... There is no other way. It is easy to join the status quo and blind ourselves that we are being strong... I tend to appreciate how you bring to the fore front the ideology of Nazism... If we dare to look closely at our Nations(Canada, England and Europe included) we can see many unfortunate similarities... The Nations that once fought determinedly against that Evil now eagerly embrace it...all for the name of economic survival... More importantly we need to search our souls individually and see if the Spirit of Truth , Conscience and Deep Agape Love will survive or will it be cast aside for something lesser and less enduring...I do not write this lightly or without searching my own soul daily... The cost is great.. but the cost of embracing evil we once stood against is greater... The time has come to count the cost and not be found wanting.. The Government can only go so far... and if left to its'own devices will surely falter.. Each person needs to take a stand and hold themselves and the Government of their Nation accountable.... My grandparents fled Europe before WW2 to escape the rising tide of Evil and Fascism and Nazism... We have to remember and be careful daily to guard against it... We dare not deceive ourselves that we shall easily enter Heaven with such a Mill-stone weighted around our necks with the death of so many INNOCENTS in the name of greed and self-survival.. thanks my dear friend..
