Mickey, I hadn't heard this news story. I don't watch the news too much, too depressing, so thank you for bringing it to our attention, and I'm sure the girl will LOVE the Build-A-Bear you're giving her.

Just a suggestion: you think your son is up to talking to this little girl and maybe sharing some of what he went through to show her she can get thru it? I really don't know him well enough to know if he could handle that or not.

Thanks Cathy...I feel the same about you girl! I don't know if my son would talk to her...probably so. I don't know if that family would be up to that though, I mean this just happened. A lot of people don't want people to come around them after something like this. The feel it's their pain and theirs alone. I know this opened up wounds that I thought were healing in my heart. Some people feel ashamed, and as if they did something wrong, that they asked for this to happen. I would love to have the chance to minister to people about my horrid past. If I could touch one person with my story...I would feel a little more at peace. GBU
