Glory Be This Day!

Everyday is a blessing, but today more than all others.

A typical day would be up an hour before day break and then make a huge pot of coffee -making Hillbilly cappuccino's which is 60%coffee and 40%Milk -no froth or sugar. It takes til sun rise to get my personal batteries charged with 8-10 billyChino's. I pray a simple prayer before sunrise and then look out the window to see what the Lord has for me to see. Almost everyday is blessed with seeing wild turkey, Canadian Geese stopping on the lake, or Blue Herring standing and waiting for a fish breakfast. At least, a few times a week see Whitetail deer grazing or down at the lake getting a early morning drink.

Today was the day in which I have prayed and waited for so long. As I got dressed to go Outside to work, I saw 3 LARGE ELK! Yes ELK, finally here in Kentucky right by the Lake. Wow it was truly awesome to see, Thank YOU LORD!
They finally made it here to the land you guided me too. Elk has not roamed Kentucky for hundreds of years and now Kentucky has one of the largest Elk Herds East of the Mississippi river. I wondered when the first day that I would get to see them and it was this 8th day of November 2007 in the year of our Lord. I praise him for such a sight. I have never been a hunter nor will I ever become one (not that I am against Hunters) but, just enjoy watching the wonderful animals GOD created.

AMEN!
