don´t hamster... ;)

I am taking care of our neighbours hamster for 3 months, and right now it is waking up and doing some noise, cause it is NIGHTactive!!! Aaah!
Boy, this really is not my way to have a pet: just alittle creature trapped into a little cage IN a peoples flat!!! Do u know that it will storage EVERY food first in its mouth and then EVERYWHERE??? A hamster won´t give ANY love back to you, they are looner, and its ONLY interrests are food-STORAGES, to built houses and to sleep!!!

If u ask ME, this is a good sermon: THIS hamster is the perfect symbol of a modern citizen without God and a PERFECT reminder of a DON`T DO for a christian: DON´T built your life upon your own house (Sorry to say that, builders... gg) and selfmade storages! )

Reminds me of Matth. 6,19:
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

And of the Parable of the Rich Fool:
Luke 12,16 And he told them this parable: The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. 17 He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.' 18 Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19 And I'll say to myself, You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.' 20 But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?' 21 This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich towards God.

 Good post! When my daughter was younger she had a white rat for a pet. Actually, first it belonged to her cousin and her cousin gave it to her. At first I thought, "Ugh". But I actually got attached to that cute little thing. His name was Tyson. GBY!
