GoD's AwEsOmE PoWeR! “Sometimes it seems like God is difficult to find and impossibly far away. We get so caught up in our small daily duties and irritations that they become the only things that we can focus on. What we forget is that God’s love and beauty are all around us, every day, if only we would take the time to look up and see them. “ What is my most unforgettable moment on the month of February? Hmmmm.. Let’s see… Well actually, last February 4-9, 2009, Dr. James Horvath together with his family and his team went here to Cebu for a Crusade “Greater Miracle Crusades”. I only missed two nights. I was there at February 4, 6, 8 and 9. It was such a terrific event. God is really working in the midst of us. I came to that event because I believe that God will perform some miracles in my life. And I came because I want a refreshment for my soul. I was actually struggling spiritually. You know why? Because I’ve been very busy at school and I already forgot about God. There are times that I cannot sleep and I believe God wants to talk to me but I just ignored Him. I don’t read the Bible at that time anymore and I don’t pray. And I wondered why is this is happening to me. I was so unhappy. But when I came to the Crusade, I thanked God that my soul was re-energized. God reminded me of His great love and of His awesome power. God comforted me and I just felt His presence and loving-kindness. I cannot explain it. God really did some marvellous things in my life. And it was the first time in the crusade that I saw sick people that were healed in just an instant! There were prayers, tears, laughter, shouting, cheering and dancing. It was just so unbelievable. Imagine a sick person with a cancer maybe, or those who are in crutches were healed and I’ve seen them running on the stage crying, thanking God for the healing and they had thrown their crutches because they don’t have to use it anymore! God is just so great. Some young people who have not spoken in heavenly tongue have done it for the first time! And they were so blessed. Each one of us didn’t go home without receiving our miracles. And I just hope that there are more events like that. Last February 15, 2009, we went to World of Life Christian Fellowship for a pre-valentine gathering. God is also working in that event. We have anointing of oil too and the bible school students from IBC prayed for each and every one of us. I just hope that someday when I’m finished with my course, that I will become a bible school student too or a missionary maybe. I would love to go to other places and share the Word of God.
