WATCH OUT FOR THE "PHONIES" IN YOUR EMAILS!!!

There is a solicitation that came to me today for a 'BIG CHURCH CAMPING" event. Turns out this 'event' is in Nigeria, they are asking for folks to send identifying info, and then $3000 for hotel reservations. For camping????

NO exact location, no info on air fares, etc...just send us your names and addresses and then a check for $3000.

PLEASE DON"T FALL FOR THIS!!!

I have reported the sender, it is jerryloves something or other...lol...probably our money...pray for him. But don't send him info or money!!!!

I usually don't post about these types of things, they happen here on a lesser scale, solicitations for church support in Nigeria, but this one was just too much. I did not want to see even one of the dear souls here taken in.

 There are a number of Islamic extremists who have assumed false identities (e.g. persecuted Christian brother, etc.) in order to obtain funds FOR ISLAMIC JIHAD! Do not send any money anywhere... except perhaps to:

 Thanks for the heads up. This is why we are to put our trust in God, not princes... Scammers are everywhere. Feel free to send me $5 and I will send you a piece of Noah's ark, or the cross or Babe Ruth's bat... Whichever you prefer... LOL

 there is another scam going in that a female looks for males by reading their profile,then tells you that she is the only surviving member of her family,as they were all butchered at the hands of rebels,she then goes on to say that she needs to transfer $6m dollars,to your account for safe keeping,she then states that you send her the airfare for her to pick up the said cash,you will be given 10% for your troubles,she says she is staying with a local priest,and you can call her to verify all this ,but she makes out that the priest is more or else holding her there,there is a male version of this,same story type,but the thing is the parents names are real personswho were murdered by rebels,beware of this email appearing in your normal intrays,and report it as well
