I Believe There Is Biblical Explanation Of Satan's Origin Jehovah God is self-contained, lacking nothing. He created hundreds of millions of spirit sons and not one could add anything to his knowledge or contribute some desirable quality of emotion or personality that He did not already possess in superior degree. Ro 11:33+34 O the depth of the riches of both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of God? Or who hath been his counsellor?(King James Bible) Isa 40:13 Who hath directed the spirit of God or being his counsellor hath taught him?(King James Bible) The one we call satan was one of these spirit sons and not some deity in his own right that could rightly challenge Jehovah Gods sovereignty. On the contrary. he showed contempt for Gods love and brought reproach on his name and cruel suffering to other spirit sons of God as well as to all mankind. Such a course in any of Gods sons makes him sad. Ps 78:40 How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness and grieve him in the desert!(King James Bible) Not being creatures that marry and reproduce their own kind, the angels were individually created by Jehovah through his firstborn . Pro 8:22, 23+30 God possessed me in the beginning or his way before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting from the beginning or ever the earth was. Then I was by him and I was daily his delight rejoicing always before him.(King James Bible) Jehovah produced me as the beginning of his way. The earliest of his achievements of long ago. From ancient times I was installed. From the start and from times earlier than the earth. Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day. I rejoiced before him all the time.(New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures) Rev.3:14........These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.(King James Bible) Col.1:14-17 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers, all things were created by him, and for him. And he is before all things and by him all things consist.(King James Bible) Joh 1:2+3 The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not any thing made that was made.(King James Bible) The angels were created long before mans appearance. Job 38:4-7 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it? When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?(King James Bible) Like man, angels are free moral agents, with the power of personal choice between right and wrong. Gen 6:2,4 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose.......There were giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and they bare to them. The same became mighty men which were of old. Men of renown.(King James Bible) 2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned but cast them down and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment.(King James Bible) We all sin by personal choice. By personal choice the one called satan rebelled as did those who followed him. All of Jehovahs works are perfect; he is not the author of unrighteousness; so he did not create anyone wicked. Duet. 32:4 He is the Rock. His works is perfect for all his ways are judgment. A God of truth and without iniquity. Just and right is he.(King James Bible) Ps 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness. Neither shall evil dwell with thee.(King James Bible) The one who became satan was originally a perfect spirit of God and like all other angels he was created individually long before the creation of the earth and man. When saying that the devil did not stand fast in the truth Jesus indicated that at one time that one was in the truth. Joh 8:44 .....He was a murderer from the beginning(of his sinning) and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie he speaketh of his own(sin) for he is a liar and the father of it.(King James Bible) .....That one was a murderer when he began(his deceit) and he did not stand fast in the truth because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie he speaks according to his own disposition because he is a liar and the father of the lie.(New World translation of the Holy Scriptures) Gen. 3:4+5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die for god doth know that in the day ye eat thereof then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods knowing good and evil.(King James Bible) But, as is true of all of Gods intelligent creatures, this spirit was endowed with free will. He abused his freedom of choice, allowed feelings of self-importance to develop in his heart, began to crave worship that belonged only to God, and so enticed Adam and Eve to listen to him rather than obey God. Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired(before satan pointed this out to her she did not desire it but obeyed God) to make one wise she took of the fruit thereof and did eat and gave also unto her husband with her and he did eat.(King James Bible) Thus, by his course of action he made himself satan, which means resister and adversary. Jas 1:14+15 But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived it bringeth forth sin and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death.(King James Bible) I have tried to be as concise as I can and hope you will be like the Boreans taking up the study and comparing the Scriptures for yourselves.
