Peter had more faith than the other disciples, and more courage too. He got out of the boat!

Not only that he walked on the water a while, sure he took his eyes off Jesus and onto the waves for a minute, but Jesus helped him back to the boat.

He had a little faith, but used what he had and the Lord helped him back, at least he took the first steps into the unknown by looking at Jesus, more than what a lot do today.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

It's true, I don't have the greatest testimony, but re. your post title, I at least understand this,

John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
