there is NO biblical explanation of satan's origin

i have argued this here before, and people have stubbornly refused to acknowledge this truth. everybody offers scads of biblical allusions that they THINK is the story of satan but are NOT. the truth is that there is NO biblical story of satan's origin. it is just something RC cooked up to fill pews and coffers. people have HEARD it for so long that they just believe it is in the bible, but it is NOT. meow commented in my last post and dug it all up again (this is from my answer)

the story of satan falling from heaven DOES exist, it is just not in the bible. i have searched for it in a scholarly fashion for a research paper. it is in the quaran, NOT the bible.

there is also a similar story of an angel falling from heaven in one of the many books of enoch. but his name was not satan or any other facsimilie, and it is NOT the popular story that the quaran uses. it is more like a sgt. peppers acid trip story. this angel tries to 'put his cloud above god,' and god banishes him to earth. this was likely written durring the dysporia.'

if enough people verbally tell a story enough times, especially including respected authorities, people will believe it to be true no matter what. the story of satan falling from heaven has been told to in sunday school for eons. MOST christians just believe it and will INSIST it is biblical. when pushed, people will draw wrong conclusions from all sorts of things.

Luke 10:18 DOES have jesus say "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven," but it says NOTHING about pride or hell or eternal damnation. again, that is all very clearly spelled out in the quaran, NOT the bible.

Isaiah 14:12 DOES say "How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!" however, if you actually READ this in context it is about the king of tyre. NOT satan. there are many notes that tie jesus' statement above to this passage as well, using it as a metaphor to his disciples.

Ezekiel 28 seems to tell the familiar satan story, but again, it is a prophesy about the land and king of tyre. tyre got a buttload of prophetic condemnation (Isaiah 23:1–18; Jeremiah 25:22; 27:1–11; Ezekiel 26:1– 28:19; Joel 3:4–8; Amos 1:9, 10). Ezekiel 28:11–19 is against the king of Tyre for his insatiable pride and greed. YES, it it may use satan as a METAPHOR, but it is NOT the story as we all know it, just similar. the story as we know it is in the quaran. NOT the bible...and kind of in one of the books of enoch.

this post was censored due to hate? come on big church, WAKE THE FORK UP AND STOP DOING STOOPID SENSELESS CENSORSHIP. THIS IS THE BIBLE YOU MORONS!! there is STILL a swear in an earlier post that you blind lazy people completely missed. haha

Not being creatures that marry and reproduce their own kind, the angels were individually created by Jehovah through his firstborn Son, 'the beginning of the creation by God' (Matthew 22:30; Rev.3:14) 'By means of him(the firstborn Son, the Word) all other things were created in the heavens....the things invisible...also, he is before all other things and by means of him all other things were made to exist'(Col.1:15-17, Joh 1:1-3) The angels were created long before man's appearance, for at the 'founding of the earth' 'the morning stars joyfully cried out together, and all the sons of God began shouting in applause'. (Job 38:4-7)
Like man, angels are free moral agents, with the power of personal choice between right and wrong.(Gen 6:2,4; 2Pe 2:4) By personal choice the one called satan rebelled as did those who followed him.
All of Jehovah's works are perfect; he is not the author of unrighteousness; so he did not create anyone wicked.(Duet. 32:4; Ps 5:4) The one who became satan was originally a perfect spirit son of God. When saying that the devil 'did not stand fast in the truth'. Jesus indicated that at one time that one was 'in the truth'.(Joh 8:44) But, as is true of all of God's intelligent creatures, this spirit son was endowed with free will. He abused his freedom of choice, allowed feelings of self-importance to develop in his heart, began to crave worship that belonged only to God, and so enticed Adam and Eve to listen to him rather than obey God.
Thus, by his course of action he made himself satan, which means 'adversary;. (Jas 1:14, 15)

I hope this aids your study and understanding Rocky.
Love Katidid.

NONE of these quotes are the story of satan. the story of satan is in the quaran. very clearly. you have VERY artfully pieced together unrelated biblical quotes to ALMOST say what is NOT there. that is what catholicism has done. i agree that many players in the bible APPEAR to know the story, but it is NOT in the bible. it is in the quaran.

ALSO, you take liberty with some of these quotes, CAREFULLY choosing translations. not ALL translations (or the greek or hebrew originals) use the term satan or are in fact referring to satan.

ALSO ALSO, the epistles were written thousands of years AFTER the OT and are NOT new revelation of prophets concerning creation. they are theological reflection on what had already been written.

you are fooling yourself. if you want to follow islam so that you can beilieve in the devil's origin, you are welcome. but the story of satan's origin is NOT in the bible.

actually, lucifer is NOT a biblical name for satan at all. that comes from a mistake made by dante and milton. the rest of what you say is also total non-biblical bullflop.
