Christmass story!! A young man was crying that his parents did not buy him a new pair of shoe for the christmass-Every christmass the youngman gets a new pair of shoe for christmass. Unfortunately, this christmass the parents could not afford a new pair of shoe. The youngman was so sad and disappointed that he had to run away from home.As he was crying along the street he met another youngman without leg. The man without leg asked him, friend, why are you crying? The crying man replied, all my friends already had their new shoes for the christmass but my parents could not get me one.The man without leg laughed and said, if only I have my leg, I will be so happy to go without shoe. The crying youngman then looked down and realised this man does not even have leg to put the shoe on. He stopped crying immediately and said, God I thank you, atleast, I have my leg and went back home Christmass, the season of many wishes is around the corner: we wish we have this, we wish we have that,we could not have them all,we feel we're not doing enough or God is not on our side. While we have sound health but not happy cause we don't have all we want, those on sick bed wish just only one thing-if only I have my health,.. |

It is in the nature of all of us to be selfish and want to put our own needs and desires before others. The Bible gives clear direction however on our need to give glory to God by helping others in need. Here are helpful verses. 1 John 3:17- Love of God But whoever has the world's goods, and beholds his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Luke 6:38 - Rewards for Giving "Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." Thanks for the story! God bless How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?
