A World of Difference

I have to praise God every day since my spinal surgery on June 12th. Why? Well, it's returned to me the strength I thought I'd lost forever when I became injured on the job 8 years ago. It also erased 8 years of excruciating pain. It's literally given me back my life.

Just since June, I've lost 40 pounds, going from a size 24 to an 18, and I can walk two miles without breaking a sweat. It's amazing! I'm truly blessed.

To date, I've lost just over 65 pounds, and regained myself in the process.

I start physical therapy within the next week and I'm excited! I can't wait to see where my new limits lie and if I can return to a passion of mine most of my adult life: weight training. Maybe even karate! Wouldn't that be amazing?
