Do we need to experiencially understand oneness to be truly be one with God? For years the prayer of Jesus revolves in my mind when He prayed that we would be one as He and the Father are one, that we might be one in them. That in equation form it might look something like this... 1()+1(Father)+1(Spirit)=1 God; 1(you)+1(me)+1(everyone esles)=1 functional unified body of one; so that 1 Godhead+1 unified assemble bonded together in peace, love, and the Holy spirit = Total Oneness and completeness in God. Then, as Jesus prayed, that this would testify to the world that the father has truly sent the . But the thought to ponder over is: can we ever truly be one with God unless we first really understand the nature and function of what it is to be one together? Would we ever understand how the the and the Father exist in such a state and enter into that state with them unless we too functioned together at that level of understanding. |

Hi Seeker. Can u tell me where in the Bible Jesus made such a prayer? I am not sure if I recall anything like that or not. I'd like to read it myself before I venture any comment. TY and GBU, Gavin
