Saturday 19th March

I had a pretty quiet day today.

I vacuumed the house this morning (Context: I live in a 2-story house with my family of 9, and we all have our designated Saturday jobs) which took a while, but the place is looking a lot nicer now.

I REALLY (honestly) wanted to get out to my local soccer oval today to do a few laps, but (darn it) it rained almost the entire day and the oval would have been drenched, so I missed out on my exercise today, but (I swear) I am going to make up for it tomorrow. I'll be back at the pool (doing 12-laps this time).

The rain cleared up a bit this afternoon, enough for me to show my 3 youngest siblings how to tie a water-bomb and we had a small water-bomb fight. Hopefully it will be a lot sunnier tomorrow, and we will be able to have a bigger one.

I was babysitter to the young ones tonight, and cooked dinner again with my brother, because my Parents went out for a romantic evening together. We made a Salad served with Chicken breast for everyone. The young-ones were well behaved, eating all their dinner, said the rosary and watched Chicken Run (ironic huh?) before going to bed.

At some stage tomorrow I would like to go out to Sydney to see Of Gods and Men which is playing at the French Film Festival. I saw it 8 days ago with my Dad and brother and it was profoundly moving. I would love to catch it's last screening at the festival tomorrow.
