Is Christ the Archangel Michael ? What are the angels ? The angels are spirits , and they are of two types: holy angels , and evil angels (demons ). There is no doubt that both types , good and bad , are at work in the world. It was said of the angels : " Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation ? " (Heb.1:14 ) And " The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him , and delivers them " ( Ps.34  ) We know that the angels of the Lord encamp around those that fear Him and deliver them , but we do not see the angels with the physical bodily eye because they are spirits , and we can only see them with our own spirits. In His revelation , John the Beloved , when he was " in the Spirit " , " On the Lord's Day " ( Rev.1:10 ) , saw an angel directing him , and also saw other angels . There are angels who have taken on certain forms and been visible. For example , the angels of Resurrection: On one occasion two angels appeared who were like , " two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning " ( Lk.24:4 ) And on another occasion the angel of the Lord appeared and , " His appearance was like lightning , and his clothes were white as snow " ( Mt.28:3 ) Also we hear that the Cherubim and Seraphim have six wings , that with two of them they cover their faces , with another two their feet and with the remaining two they fly. The work of the Seraphim is to praise . Isaiah the prophet saw them around the throne of God , praising Him and saying " Holy , Holy , Holy is the Lord of hosts , the whole earth is full of His glory " ( Isa.6:3 ) even so , when they heared Isaiah cry , " Woe to me !...I am ruined! for I am a man of unclean lips " , one of the Seraphim flew down " with a live coal in his hand , which he had taken with tongs from the altar ". And he touched Isaih on the mouth and said , " See , this has touched your lips ; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for " ( Isa.6 ) Christ our Lord , God and Savior couldn't be the archangel Michael. as some members say that the Holy Spirit was the Archangel Gabriel !!!!!!!!!!! JWs and some of our brethern the Sabbatherian Adventist believe that Christ is the angel Michael , and they believe that Christ was born in original sin !!!!!!!!!!! I know that there's a big difference between how JWs and progressive SDAs (the majority of today) believe about Christ being Michael, as well as Christ being born in original sin. Also Angels do know our prayers because they carry them to God's throne. This is evident in many texts of the Revelation : " Then another angel , having a golden censer , came and stood at the altar.And he was given much incense , that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense , with the prayers of all the saints , ascended before God from the angel's hand " ( Rev.8:3-5 ) Here we see that the prayers of the saints ascend to God from the angel's hand and censer. How could angels know then ? More than this , angels know our condition on earth : That's clear in the Lord's words , "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninty-nine just persons who need no repentance " ( Lk.15 ,10 ) This shows that the news of the earth reach the inhabitants of heaven whether angels or souls of saints. Thus they know about those who repent and those who need to repent , and they rejoice over a repentant sinner. If they do not know , how could they rejoice ?!!! Also the angels of the little about whom the Lord said , " Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones , for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven " ( Mt.18:10 ) Blessings Demas3
