god sent me a check

i don't want to boast on this...i have been WAY too eager about this whole thing....BUT...i just received a miracle contribution.

while it isn't everything i could have hoped for...it is enough for me to make a reasonable offer on the property i have been going on and on about. i will be totally up the creek without ANY paddles, but that is the way god usually works in my life.

i keep thinking of gideon fighting the mideonites. when he has all these thousands of men, but god keeps whittling them down until he has just a few hundred left. god wants him to know that GOD did this, not the men.

this money doesn't happen until next week, and then i am still only a wish and a prayer close enough to the actual asking price...but it COULD be enough.

i usually don't ask for prayers, and i know that there are more than few from the chat room openly praying against this, but if you are so inclined....pray for god's garage to get this home.

You know I am praying here. I am totally dependent on His provision right now! It really is a leap of faith but it's so very awesome to see His Hand at work, just at the right time, exactly what is needed, right when you are nearly afraid to exhale! His will be done in all things for His glory!

***in addition to god's monetary providence i have found a new neighborhood bank entertaining the idea of a mortgage.

because of contributions, i need much less now than i was shooting for before, and this current bank has ACTUALLY let me apply for a loan. this is the first time i have been able to officially apply and be considered on my own credit worthiness (which is not so great).

a small mortgage will help a lot and won't be as strapping as the initial goal i was looking at.
