Does Incarnation mean limitation ? Does Incarnation mean limitation ? Does the incarnation of the Lord mean that He is limited within certain boundary though He is the limitless ? Incarnation does not mean limitation , because God is not bounded within a certain place. When He was in the body in a certain place , He was in the Godhead everywhere. It is the same as we say that God was speaking to Moses on the Mountain. But He was not only on the Mountain but was at the same time everywhere managing the whole world with its continents. Likewise when God was speaking with Abraham and when He appeared to other prophets . He was at the same time in every other place. When we say that God is on His throne , we do not mean that He is only on the throne but He is also glorifiedhere and present everywhere , His throne is also everywhere where He is glorified. He is in heaven, and heave is not vast enough for Him. When He spoke to Nicodemus in Jerusalem He said , " No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven , that is the of Man who is in heaven " ( Jn.3:13 ) That is He was in heaven while speaking to Nicodemus in Jerusalem. He was in the body visible in some place. At the same Time in the Godhead He was invisible in other place. As Godhead He is in every place , but the people see Him in the body in a certain place. This does not contradict with His being in the Godhead in all earth and heaven as the Godhead is unlimited. Jesus Christ is God in the form of man; as completely God as if He were not man; as completely man as if He were not God. He is always divine and always human, and will be forever more, world without end. In His incarnation (the Word becoming flesh), He was united to and present in the man Christ Jesus, while at the same time He fills and governs the universe. The Lord Jesus Christ is God Himself , the Incarnate Logos who took to Himself a perfect manhood. His divine nature is one with His human nature yet without mingling , confusion or alteration , a complete Hypostatic Union. Words are inadequate to describe this Union. It was said without controversy , " Great is the mystry of godliness , God was manifest in the flesh " ( 1 Tim.3:16 ) As this union is permenant , never divided nor separated as we say in our prayer that HisGodhead never departed from His manhood for a single moment not even for a twinke of an eye. The Divine nature ( God the Word ) was united with the Human nature which He took from the Virgin Mary by the action of the Holy Spirit. Blessings sicowin4 |

Of course the Lord Jesus Christ knows the day and the hour because He is God. He says , " I and My Father are One " , " I am in the Father , and the Father is in Me " Blessings
