Jesus spoke....

...... I listened then asked "Hey Lord, what are you up to?"

"Oh....it has been a big day. Trying to touch people's hearts. "

I asked..."How did you go?"

His reply surprised me....

"Well how about I tell you about one?" said Jesus. I was all ears. "This I will tell you about is just like you. In fact .... they look a lot like you. Actually...... it is you! Today you turned your heart to me. It made me smile. Today you spoke to me. I love the conversations we share. You don't hold anything back. Nothing is off limits in your life."

These words touched me... Jesus .... my Saviour , Lord , King and Friend! I have discovered through Jesus that even the crappy times can be 'blessings in disguise' because through them He can show me what is really important.

Jesus went on..."Not everyone knows me in their heart...but, that is my goal. Touching hearts...saving souls. I am the Good Shepherd, seeking all the lost lambs. I reign in your heart my . I love that."

"My heart Lord is your home " I replied.

Jesus seemed concerned so I thought I'd ask about what I saw..."Hey Jesus, what's up?"

"Oh, just that I need you. I need you to be my hands and feet in this world. My hands and feet bear the marks of the gift I freely gave everyone on that glorious cross. I know you know how precious that gift is...I know you have accepted that gift by giving me your heart. Just day by day can I use all of you to reach others? Can your life be another example to my lost lambs that I...Jesus...am here for them?"

"Oh Jesus" I replied "There is nothing more I would want than to be a living example of you."

Then Jesus commanded "Go....live....serve...love... show the world what knowing me in your heart can bring. Life....eternal life! What a precious gift."

I had to smile as I read your blog, I was in Exodus this morning and pondering the fact that while Israel was in slavery in Egypt, they were so blessed by the Lord that they became so numerous, Egypt was afraid of them. The glass is always half full, and that is how I intend to see it. Hmm, now about the hands and feet part, yeah, got to work more on that part. Blessings.
