Dating/Romance thru the eyes of a photographer

I posted this elsewhere, but figured I'd post it here as well. Enjoy

God's Beauty is everywhere. He doesn't make mistakes. As a photographer, I see a scene, then try to focus in on part of that scene or try to capture the whole scene in a way that it will stick out. In photography, its the flaws that make a scene pop. A broken tree in an otherwise serene forest. A common blue bird with a faded area of feathers. A flower thats blooming a few days behind the others. In photography those flaws define beauty, yet in our lives and relationships we view things at a polar opposite.

Too many times I've heard how relationships end, or trouble starts, after we start focusing in on the flaws. They originally drew us in. In the whole "scene", we were attracted or drawn to that person, but over time, those flaws that should be defining, become bad. His/Her Nose is crooked. His/her eyes aren't pointing the same direction! His/Her teeth are missing! For whatever reason we each have our own flaws, we have them for a reason only God knows. Some we could have prevented, but we have them nonetheless, and so God will fit it into his plan for you. Why do we look for flaws in nature, and then run aways from flaws in our partners.

Maybe its time we start looking thru our viewfinders of life a little differently. The trees, birds, flowers, and rivers were created by the same God that created us, so the same rules apply to us all. Flaws make us unique. They're a beauty all of their own, and unless we appreciate every aspect of his creations, we're missing out on the "scene".
