2009 Media, TV, Radio, Internet..hmmm for certain they are aware of ratings, of demographics, of targeted age groups, etc. Convicted as i am in Spirit to do something, perhaps the best written and tracked response would be online. A great post by thedrifter 3-13-09, a great call for the willing to seek the source out and speak to that which threatens the beauty of simplicity, and the masked exploitation of the innocent. For a noble purpose to defend His name, our target is TV evangelism, but what about the authors, and the radio talking heads that blast our faith and sell books, and tapes that teach us to follow our heart, find our bliss and for $19.99 we too can have it all, all the ways of the world that lead to death. My dear pop crossed the USA on a buckboard, my mom born in Germany, bless her soul at the age of 79 moved back from Brazil to USA last year, and without hesitation her thoughts are known direct to the those that seek to take advantage of the elderly. We are each blessed by the pioneers, the adventures of our forefathers, the struggles, the victories, the perseverance was diffent then. Today we must committ our hearts to persevere thru prolific persuasions. Again God is the judge, He knows all, hears all, and He protects the weak sheep from the wolves, IF the sheep trust and rely on good discernment, we obediently turn off the hearing. He calls us to respond with humble kindness. I agree with this honorable campaign, and i will write in general, online to Daystar, INSP, TBN, ANGEL to protect His name. DISCLAIMER: A time of decision came from within, i responded and cancelled all cable TV. Time spent in His word, without distraction has been a blessing. Online still, don't know how much longer, He leads and i follow. Careful what i read, careful what i watch - love old movies from netflix, love music, words, lyrics...i remain informed, i voted without the hammering influence. Not hearing every detail repeated on the news nightly, i read headlines online, i choose what goes into my mind and i walk in faith, and with this post dear brother drifter, indeed there is no bottom to this blog, and there is no limit to the impact of this request. A fork in my path that is in definetely in harmony with what He would have me do. Lengthy in my honest reply -- my motive to represent Him well, with truth and light to those that oppose, or impose on His sovergnity. Barbara
