WikiLeaks cables reveal how the US manipulated the Copenhagen accord. Examining the data related to climate, the tip of the iceberg becomes visible. Embassy dispatches show the US used spying, threats and promises of aid to get support. Hidden behind the save-the-world rhetoric of the global climate change lies the sickening reality of money and threats buying political support; spying and cyberwarfare used to seek out leverage.

The US diplomatic cables reveal how the US seeks dirt on nations opposed to its approach to tackling global warming; how financial and other aid is used by countries to gain political backing; how distrust, broken promises and creative accounting negotiations; and how the US mounted a secret global diplomatic offensive to overwhelm opposition to the controversial "Copenhagen accord" (the unofficial document that emerged from the ruins of the Copenhagen climate change summit in 2009).

Seeking negotiating chips, the US state department sent a secret cable on July 31, 2009 seeking human intelligence from UN diplomats across a range of issues, including climate change. The request originated with the CIA, as well as countries' negotiating positions for Copenhagen. Diplomats were asked to provide evidence of UN environmental "treaty circumvention" and deals between nations.

Now, what are Obama's and the environmentalists' position on global warming? They believe that the US is destroying the climate. Among all of the industrialized nations, the US
is the greatest contributor to the destruction of the climate. In summery these cables talk about how the US is browbeating other nations into going along the administrations view of things.

What these cables further reveal is that all this talk about protecting the environment has nothing to do with the Climate or saving the World. Instead it's about political positioning, money and plain old socialist promotion. Global warming, climate change or whatever term they attach to it, is nothing more than an attempt to create socialist nations as far around the world as the powers that be can and to separate everyone from their money. As referred before, this is only the tip of the iceberg. More is to come and it wouldn't be surprising if the answer to who is behind Climategate comes forth or what forces were behind Al Gore's Nobel nomination.
