Australian Churches in Crisis today!

In order to address some core issues of concern, I have brought my discoveries to God's attention again, regardless of the extent of the problems evident in each local church:

1. Lack of mature godly leadership in local churches: sound in doctrines, able to teach and preach the whole counsel of God in good manners and approaches (not in boring and lecturing tones, not in spoon-feeding under-estimating others tone, not in domineering, aggressive, sales-focused tone, not in the use of eloquent speech and flowering languages, not in obscure and wishy-washy tone, not in vain repetition and meaningless gap-filling tone, not in flattery and making you feel good tone, but in the fear of the Lord and in the demonstration of the power of God, and of the Spirit (filled with Spirit) along with a strong sense of humility correcting all those opposing the leaders.

2. Lack of caring shepherds in local churches: babes are not fed and followed up, young in faith Christians are wandering day after day, lukewarm Christians are self-serving, and complacent, bring in the patterns of the world to pollute the church, infiltrating elements are not watched out, purged and cut off. Church discipline is almost non-existent to bring those “bad sheep” under control.

3. Lack of ministry power resulting from poor or weak testimonies in the life of those being put under leadership positions: Inconsistency in speech, action and relationships, double-standards living, and lacking spiritual depths and experiences in spiritual warfare, in Christ’s sufferings, in knowing God and His ways, in walking with Him and in understanding of the pain, hurt, losses, sorrows and grieves, and internal struggles of others.

May God have mercy on us all who believe in him and raise up more godly servants of His choice such as Nehemiah, Daniel, Paul, Job, Samuel and so on in order to meet the challenges of our days in church, for the days in which we live are evil and perilous, the evidence of end time of this age.

Thanks be to God for the age to come, the Kingdom Age in which Christ will reign supreme and subdue all his enemies under his feet. We who believe will reign with Him, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, whose name is forever blessed. Amen.
