How to meet people?

I have a few friends of mine that met people online. In fact, I went to a reception recently of a friend who met her spouse on Bigchurch.com. I guess that's why I found this site... But I also was wondering if there were other methods of meeting people besides on the Internet. Any suggestions in AZ?

 Well.. go to a church that has a singles group class; go to singles meetings if they have a singles group in your town, or if you are like me, go to Senior Citizens. Ha Ha Just kidding about the last one, but in a few years I might be going!
