i would suggest go to the profile first and see how much time and effort they put into their profile, if you are interested and cannot view profile i am sure that their are a few bloggers on here that are paid members that would take the time to help you out with, very nice people on here for the most part. another thing to look for is those that claim to be college grads and yet cannot write or their grammar is very bad. another thing is if they appear geniune but then very fast they start to give you a hard luck story and need funds for whatever reason. just a few to get you started, cheers

May the Lord bless you and keep you

You can also google "romance scams" and see a variety of websites that post stolen pictures that have been used in previous scams. If you have someone writing to you that says they are a widowed engineer in their 40-50s and their pic looks like just too perfect or too polished then it's probably been ripped off a modeling site.

However, be forewarned there are some that have been stolen from regular guys too as people are starting to catch on.

You can also tell they may be a scammer if they don't answer any of your questions. Most scammers don't venture too far from their script. So if the reply email is pretty much the same as the beginning email and your questions are being ignored, that's another red flag.

Scammer will also want your email address or for you to write them at their real quick like. Their goal is to get you away from the site so they can start plotting their plan. This also tends to be a ploy by guys who just want a roll in the hay as well.

Hi there sister, stick around and get to know everyone and find out who is who, as a standard member i haven't seen too many profiles but don't be concerned with them, do not rush either. Blessings.

Gods way is my way,...Clay

If you're not sure but are interested in him then you should meet him, but in a safe public place, and keep your guard up until you ARE sure.

I looked at this man's profile for you and I would be very suspicious of him. He is saying he has a phD, MD, and post doctorate? I don't believe that for one second. GBY! ~PJ~

May God Bless You in ABUNDANCE
