how in the world do i get a guy interested in me? im having a problem...is my profile scary? is it becuse i live in another state from them? what is it? im ready to date now and dont know how to go about it...need advice...

Hi Trinity, welcome to BC and the blogs. Like the others a photo does help a little, but not necessarily. A word of caution though - be aware of the many scammers that come after new people on here, well anyone who is a full member actually. Go have a read of You are so interesting there's a little fun discussion going on about the scammers which might give you some clues on how to spot them. Otherwise just enjoy the journey here. There are a lot of nice people blogging and chatting. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4

just go the the "Hair Mixer" web site and pick out a "I wish that I looked like that" picture and post it. Life is an adventure.

im not a scammer i just have onre photo and its nothing like yours...im afraid...so....i want to put my best foot forward and would like someone to like me for me and not anything else...yes i know men are visual but i want them to know a little more about me before i send it out. i will check on how to spot a scammer to whatever that means i dont plan on anyone pulling the wool over my eyes like last time!!!!

i have tried looking in church...and just being friends....and 7 yrs is what an x friend told me...i found out later she was a backstabber and said lies about me behind my back...but maybe it is 7 yrs! lol...i am comlpex like most women you men dont get us until later and sometimes even then its hard for you to get us lol. kristy...im sending my only photo 2 nite lol...im sending it out so ther is no guessing about me i am not a liar or a scammer and i resent anyone saying that... furthermore i dont believe in tatooing my self and body peircings...i have only pierced ears.one set of hole on each ear! i also believe in being honest so it will be a real photo...geez i think it sux its not professionally cdone like alot of you guys out there ...i just dont have the money for it...lol... so its just little old me lol...guua try and post it now geez iy terrifies me  well keep given advbice and ill keep praying and trying.... God Bless all of you

yes well i hope he can find sumone for me...its free will you kno? God can pick one and the --guy could bail!-- ther are alot of beautiful women out there...and men are visual...i dont have really a chance...it will take a man who is blind...sigh...agh my melonchaly side at it again....no pity party...no pity party....thats my mantra when im this way...sigh...  well you guys keep pouring out the advice as the Lord leads..i need it! and thanks for the encouragement!

hey...ndnthomas...thats what im doing...lol...keeping things on thup and up literally...yhinking on things above. not easy to do iguess because when guys hear my backround...and my sons with needs...and i want it all to be platonic...they are out of here sorta speak...lol...creeps then i tell you...full of sin they are. im not needy and im not looking for a night in shining armor to rescue me im just looking for a serious companion and possibly more God willing...but i wont let it get me down. God is in charge so whatever He wants ill give it to Him. thanx for the encouragement !

Then when things don't happen in the time frame that you expect, you get frustrated and jump to conclusions as to why it's not happening. You need to relax, quit being hard on yourself, instead work on your self confidence, don't let the opinions of others control your life, be independent. Being humble and yet self confident is one of the toughest jobs a person can take on, but it is a quality that will make heads turn and people remember you. Don't believe everything you think, God is not a cookie cutter God! Laughing at yourself is better then laughing at someone else.

Laughing at yourself is better then laughing at someone else.
