An Electrifying Tale...Miraculous healing after electrocution..God still heals!!!. I was really thinking about Gods healing power yesterday while playing with my cat Angel.I was thinking about Gods love and mercy and why God heals some but not others. My story is totally amazing and absolutely true, and I hope it will encourage everyone who reads this story. May it challange your faith to believe the impossible and to believe that God heals.In april,2004 I was working at a Christian radio station in Battlecreek, Michigan, as a DJ.I had just moved to Michigan from Wisconsin and was temporarily staying at the station until my house was ready.My cat Angel at the time was a very curious 7 month old kitten and loved to explore the whole station,lol.One Saturday morning at around 9am the radio stations power shut down and we went off the air. The first place to look is at the transmitter. Another staff member and I pulled off the 100 pound cover as it was an old transmitter system and there to much shock was Angel my kitten, laying next to the transmitter. She was still smoking and burned terribly.Somehow she had crawled into a small hole and poked her wet nose directly on the high voltage. She didn't look alive so we took a wood stick and pulled her away from the unit.Her small 1 pound body was literally smoking from head to tale and you could see her skull. Her ears were burned left side of her head,arm and feet where the currents exited her body.Her tongue was hanging out the side of her mouth and her eyes were glazed over. I know I'm painting a very vivid picture and as grotesque as it sounds these pictures remain fresh in my mind.I picked Angel up and repeated a scripture over and over. You shall not die but live, and declare the Glory of the Lord!!!We drove Angel to the animal hospital downtown and I held her up speaking that scripture over and over. I noticed a breath then fast panting and her tongue still out to the side. Her eyes were completely glazed over and looked lifeless. I took her into the hospital and told the emergency staff about the electrocution and the transmitter. The voltage was high above 400 volts, not sure on the exact amount.The doctor looked at me and said shes taking her last breaths put her out of her misery. I looked at the doctor and said,no, she shall not die but live and declare the Glory of the Lord!!!Of course she thought I was a nutcase,lol.They cleaned her up bandages her arms and legs, put ivs in her arm and put her in an oxygen filled case. I asked if I could sit in front of the glass case and see her for a moment.When I saw her laying there her arms completely bandaged up,head taped up,legs,she looked so helpless,I wept.I put my hand on the glass and repeated the scripture now through heavy tears.I looked up at her and she moved just alittle bit as if trying to move towards me.The doctor asked again if they could just put her to sleep and end it all quickly and I said no!!! They told me to go home as I'd probably get a call very soon that angel had passed away. I went back to the station and worked the afternoon drive. At midnight, I felt the urge to pray for my kitty for an hour until I had peace. At 9am I received a call from the emergency hospital to come get Angel,it was a miracle and she was alright. I went immediently and as I waited for techs to bring me my cat the staff was all excited and amazed and couldn't stop talking about the miracle of her healing.The doctor came out with a huge smile and said she couldn't believe it that angel lived. She said the voltage was enough to kill several men and marveled how my cat must of used up 8 of her 9 lives. I kept telling them no God healed her and that she was truely a miracle. They agreed. Angel is now almost 5 years old.She still has the scar on the left side of her head,ears that are burnt off at the tip, and a couple of missing toes. She is still small only about 5 pounds but the most loveable,gentle and playful cat around!!!I think back to the very day when the stay kitten was brought to my house and we couldn't think of a name for her. My who was 9 at the time looked at me and said, "Mom, lets call her Angel." How fitting a name for a miraculous cat. Angel is now my testimony cat that I have shared in sermons and always ask the same question. If God can heal a cat, Can't he heal you?????  Please remember to keep our soldiers in your prayers!!!
