You cannot be a christian without the Church

I've heard some say, 'I'm a christian but I don't believe in the church'. This is simply sheer ignorant. You cannot be a christian without the church. The moment you became a christian(accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior),that same moment you were automatically grafted into the church(body of christ) This is not optional,it's not based on your view or how you feel.

There is no excuse for what is going on in the church today but we must always remind ourselves that the church is not made up of Angels but human beings who are still maturing. So,If you are looking for a perfect church you may not find one until Christ returns. Despite the imperfection in the church,no christian should forsake the gathering of the brethren - the assembly of believers.

A christian may have personal reasons for not going to church but for a christian to say I don't believe in the church is like saying, I'm a believer but I don't believe or I'm a member of the body of Christ but I've nothing to do with/not part of the body of Christ. Every christian/believer is a member of the body of Christ, of which, Christ is the head

We don't go to church as a regular routine or to please anybody but for our spiritual food, growth, and guidance. If you've stopped going to church for some personal reasons, whatever these reasons maybe, please do not forsake the assembly of the brethren(the church). You were made alive in christ for the church, endeavour to go to church, even if it means changing local church. It's good for your spiritual health

How many rules, laws, traditions and "expectations" are there that comprize that "thing" called "Christianity" that people must learn, believe, remember, master and follow if they wanna be "true Christians" whom God in turn becomes "God" of?
How many (rules, laws- what ever you wish to call any and all of that stuff) "have to be"s are there that people say MUST BE PRESENT IN A PERSON- if they want to be a "christian" and are "right with God"?
What did Jesus say about it? Did Jesus LIE then? Let's stop being deluded and sent to hell--- Use yer heads to figure out what Jesus said- and what your reality is. They are 2 entirely different things. WHY?

Christianity is a personal race/relationship with Christ. So,nothing wrong in seeking God on your own as long as Christ is the door(John 14:6).Church does not have to be organised. Each time 2 or more (you and your household/other christians) come together to seek God, that's a church.

WHo here then is "a Christian"?
Who?
Let's have at least ONE of you stand up and teach the TRUE GOSPEL THAT JESUS TAUGHT. Just ONE of you. Church or not. No matter. SOMEONE here teach the TRUE GOSPEL THAT JESUS TAUGHT. Just ONE of you. I dare you.
Failing that- you judge yourselves to be bogus wanna be pretenders like freewayrider is. Lots of nice "christian pretense" but no Gospel. Makes sense to me...

Caly, it is important to go to Church, but I believe most Churches have bad leaders. The minister or pastor should be there to serve. I went to a big church once and the bus they had only went around the block. What about the others. What about the people who work or those who need God's guidance. I believe the churches should go out there and reach those people just like Jesus's disciples. It is really rare that any Church would have members who go to houses and invite people. Churches today just spend hours decorating things or making the guitar echo through the halls of stained glass. Pastors need to get out there and reach people and maybe even put people to work as well so that they can provide a church that has the best needs for the people. The churches must unite under one Lord, and we know who that is. Without unity and biblical practice we will always wonder why millions of believers don't go to church.
