What Have I Learned About Life

Life is like a book, and in that book are unwritten pages. Each new day provides a blank page and waits for your written thoughts and actions. It is up to you to take pen in hand and begin to write.

What are you going to write? Before answering this question, think about where you are presently in your life and the decisions you have made in the past which helped to bring about your present circumstances.

Once you have a clear perception of your life in the present, think about your future. Each tomorrow begins with today. Looking over your shoulder toward the past isn't the answer, unless you are trying to glean from it by learning valuable lessons. Your today and your moments in today were meant to be lived and written. Why? The past can't be changed..it's history. Tomorrow can't be lived...it hasn't arrived. If you make a mistake, today can become an eraser to correct wrong decisions, but it can't take away the negative consequences. However, it will give you an opportunity to change the direction of your future.

The question, "What are you going to write?" can be answered. With each new day and pen in hand, begin writing on the blank pages of your life. Write the things you take pleasure in doing and being. Then, simply start doing it! :+)
