When I was in High School I said to one of my buddies one day: "I'll know when I've met the Right One becuase she will hit me over the head with a frying pan".

Then a couple of years ago I was in a truck stop and the girl behind the counter say's to another girl "The only way I'm ever going to get a man in my life is to Hit One Over The Head With A Frying Pan and drag him home" Boy did I get out of there fast!

I'm not looking for a relationship, when I get hit over the head with a frying pan I'll know.

I was committed once ( My Testimony ) and I've never met anyone who could replace Roberta, I know she's in heaven and that when I meet her there, we'll go flying together... for eternity. I really do feel committed to her. Even though that may seem like a contradiction to how I lead my life after she died - you have to remember I was running away from God as fast as I could.

But now I feel even more committed to my love for Roberta then ever before. But if I do ever meet someone to Marry I have a list of qualities they have to meet. Either that or God will just have to have her Hit me over the head with a frying pan.

Don't believe everything you think, God is not a cookie cutter God!

Thanks so much for commenting.

It is harder I think for those that are widows or widowers and had a great mate to think about being with anyone else.

So many though that are divorced or single try to move on without thinking about their relationship with God and seeing how important it is to "beef" up spiritually.

The frying pan made me laugh! Thanks for posting that!

Man one thing I have found though is it is hard to find time to do a journal!! I would love to say that I am keeping one daily but no I am not.

One thing I have found though is that a man that I thought would be a great possibility (he even goes to my church) I realize would not work. Even though we both love God and serve Him our personalities would be in conflict.
