"Two Ways Of Taking It" Yesterday morning not thinking anything of it. I sent a text out to friends and love ones. Now what I was thinking at the time was that if God called me home today. How many of them would I one day see in heaven. So this is what I sent. I want the ones I love to know. That if today God calls me home. I myself am ready. So To you I say, Don't cry. Just be sure that you to are ready. So that someday I will see you again up in heaven. I had no way of knowing how they would respond. Some like me knew that being called home to heaven wasn't a bad thing. They text back. Hey girl, I am with you . Some said I am ready.But the response that I never dreamed of getting was. Are you ok. What are you talking about. One of them was my youngest.She called, what are u talking about. You didn't understand it.I ask. I did understand what you meant, but it was scary. This made me sad because this I love has no peace with the fact that if God was to take me home. That is not a bad thing...Where was her joy in knowing that if He calls for me.She would know that I would be in heaven. Have I let her down. Is there something I should be doing to help her have the peace that comes with know that leaving this world is not the end. I understand that I'm her mother and the idea of me not being here with her is scary. But when my mother past I knew she had found God and was in heaven.That gave me peace even as I missed her. Is this something that comes with age, the knowing and finding joy in that fact. Are do I need to be doing something to help her. Thanks everyone.  Angel looking 4 her wings.. Angel, I knew what you were saying in this post. But like you daughter, the mind tends to always think the worst..like something is wrong. Thing is, if God chose to take you home early, yeh, I would be saddend at the loss of a friend here to talk to. Yet, I could rejoice knowing that I had a friend who has gone before me, and was in a place to where she could look down and watch over me as I continued to struggle through life. I've come to love you as a friend dear and think the world of you. May God richly bless you daily. And Dont forget to always PRAY for me  Love, Mike Angel looking 4 her wings.. I guess it is something that comes not just with age, but with maturity in our relationship with Christ. Happy birthday!  Angel looking 4 her wings.. My daughters, even though they are said and on their way to heaven has a fear of death also. When the storms come howling they become very scared even though when I ask where would you go if we all died tonight they can immediately say heaven. I think the problem is maybe they don't want to be left alone. My wife and I have raised them in church from babies and maybe we protected them too much. We are trying to get them to find friends but they have a hard time finding friends that are as much in love with God as they are. I think as they get older they will come to grip with the fact that we all have an appointed time to die. I stress to all youg people to make things right now don't wait. One young man told his grandmother I have plenty of time. That night he died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 18. We do not have plenty of time. Angel looking 4 her wings..
