Finding my way in Gods will. Funny how age can change how you look at things. Gods word has always been the same.... but for some reason it has hit me just how much of it I have choosen to leave out. Because it wasn't what I wanted. Celibacy being one. I have loved God for as long as I can remember. But it is just now at the age of 44 that I am seeing just how much I have left Him out of so many parts of my life. So when I found myself alone at 44 and asking God what I was doing wrong. Don't ask Him if you really don't want to know....lol because He has starting opening the eyes of my heart to see the answers...and man its ugly. I have all my life said I believe and trust Him. Only to see that I only trusted Him to a point. If I had to give up something I wanted then well...then I would crawfish...wait Lord why do I have to give this up. I like this.So I would just do what I wanted and ask Him to forgive me...not working anymore. Now He tells me its time to grow and learn what it is that He has in His will for me. So letting go of self is part of that and starting to live the way He says I am to live is part of that...Like I said don't ask if your not truly ready to change. You are so right girl. Many "christians" today, only allow a part of God into thier lives, and then question God as to why some of their prayers are not answered, and why they dont see and feel the wonderous blessings God has instore for each and everyone of us. Great Post Hugs, Mike
