What is the DRUG of your choice? the PASTOR replied "HEROIN"...

About a month or so ago my friend Missy and I were out and about one Sunday afternoon delivering lunches to the homeless when we came across a man standing on a corner of the entrance to interstate 25. This man was holding a sign that read "DONATIONS PLEASE, THANK YOU and GOD BLESS". Stop here Missy I said and giggling she said "I CAN'T what about the traffic behind me", and then I said "well pull over and drop me off" so Missy pulls over and finds a parking place on the side of the road up ahead. As I approach this man standing on the corner, I look behind me and there is a rough looking man with a smile on his face and he says "Hey you have another one of those" (bagged lunches) and I smile and say YEP I SURE DO. He goes on to tell me that the man that is standing on the corner is stranded and he wants to help him out by letting him BORROW HIS corner and HIS sign for a couple of days until he gets enough bus fare to get to Washington D.C... Then I asked him "Do you make pretty good money "PANHANDLING"? He said "It varies". I then said "So this is your corner and where do you live?" He then pointed towards some card board boxes, I then asked him "So what is the DRUG of your choice"? he then pulled up his sleeve and showed me the track marks on his forearm "HEROIN he said". "So what is it that you are TRYING to suppress" I asked this 54 year old man and he said "Well, 3 years ago I used to be a pastor, and though my congregation was growing by the massess, everthing pretty much came tumbling down, but when my wife left me for one of the members of my congregation, I was just beside myself with grief".... The last words to come out of my mouth were "Just remember, Jesus has YOUR name written on the palm of his nail scarred hand...
