No Priscilla, Jesus was not an Angel. Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

and Yes Priscilla, Jesus was God. The Bible affirms in several places that Jesus Christ is the Creator God. For example, ‘All things were made by him [the Word, in Greek λόγος (logos), = Jesus Christ]’ (John 1:3), and ‘For by him [Jesus Christ] were all things created’ (Colossians 1:16). Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

Shes asking because for whatever reason, she has decided to start a tirade against the Seventh Day Church, based on faulty information, to say the least. You really didnt know? Jn:14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. --Jesus.

Read Hebrews 1. Jesus is the Creator God. {also see John 1 and Colossians 1 v 15-17} Angels are created beings. So of course Jesus is not an angel. Like Mia, I can't believe you're actually asking this question Peter "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2 v 15

Some have argued that Jesus appears in the Old Testament as "The Angel of The Lord" but I have not seen any direct, explicit evidence to support this. But a case can be made. Here is an example: Zechariah 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. This "Angel" not only rebukes Satan, He removes Joshua's filthy garment, replaces them with clean raiment and then tells his He has removed his sin from him. This certainly seems to be a picture of salvation in Christ.

well Claudia the issue is it is in the writings of the 7th day adventists that Jesus is the arc angel Michael and it is still in there. and yes Pricilla, there is no scripture to back up their teachings

Here is from an exadventist: Jesus is Not Michael the Archangel The teaching that Jesus is Michael the Archangel is an old, tired Arian argument. The early Adventist pioneers taught the heresy called "Arianism" which teaches that Jesus is not God the Son, the second Person of the Trinity. Those who believe this false doctrine teach that Jesus is an exalted angel. Those, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, who promote this heresy today teach that Jesus is Michael the Archangel. This early Adventist heresy appeared in several books and articles published by the church. It even manifested itself in the hymnology of the church. In the official Seventh-day Adventist hymnal, published from 1941 until its recent revision in 1985, the church had changed the words of the hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy" which says, "God in three Persons, blessed Trinity" to "God overall who rules eternity." Evidence of this doctrinal pollution is found in the writings of Ellen White: "Moses passed through death, but Michael came down and gave him life before his body had seen corruption. Satan tried to hold the body, claiming it as his; but Michael resurrected Moses and took him to heaven. Satan railed bitterly against God...but Christ did not rebuke His adversary... He meekly referred him to His Father, saying, 'The Lord rebuke thee.'" Early Writings, p. 164 (emphasis added). "When Jesus stands up; when his work is finished in the Most Holy, then there will be not another ray of light to be imparted to the sinner....The light is made to reach far ahead, where all is total darkness. MICHAEL stands up." Spiritual Gifts, vol. 2, p. 276 (emphasis added). "As Christ and the angels approached the grave, Satan and his angels appeared at the grave, and were guarding the body of Moses, lest it should be removed. As Christ and his angels drew nigh, Satan resisted their approach, but was compelled, by the glory and power of Christ and his angels to fall back. Satan claimed the body of Moses, because of his one transgression; but Christ meekly referred him to his Father, saying, "The Lord rebuke thee." Spiritual Gifts, vol. 4a, p. 58 (emphasis added). "Just before going into the meeting, I had a revival of some interesting scenes which had passed before me in vision...It seemed to me that the angels were making a rift in the cloud and letting in the beams of light from heaven. The subject that was presented so strikingly was the case of Moses....The angels buried him, but the Son of God soon came down and raised him from the dead and took him to heaven." Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, p. 659 (emphasis added). "As a people we must stand as did the world's Redeemer. When in controversy with Satan, in regard to the body of Moses, Christ durst not bring against him a railing accusation." Testimonies for the Church, vol. 9, p. 239. THE BIBLE SAYS: "For to which of the angels did He ever say, 'Thou art My Son, today I have begotten thee?'" Hebrews 1:5 (emphasis added). "But of the Son He says, 'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever...'" Hebrews 1:8a (emphasis added). "But to which of the angels has He ever said, 'Sit at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet?' Are they [the angels] not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?" Hebrews 1:13-14 (emphasis added). It is clear from Scripture that Jesus is NOT and has never been an angel or an archangel! It would appear that the only support you have for such a belief is the literature of heretical cults and the writings Ellen White.

What you fail to recognize in "prissy's" question is that it isn't ABOUT "proving WHO Jesus was or was not"- She's simply trying to bash and destroy a whole denomination of Christians based on A MISLEADING QUESTION. And here you are- supposedly so smart and well versed in the bible- yet you do not see the total CRAP "GodWhispers" is perpetrating here. You are totally WRONG in saying Jesus was NOT an "ANGEL". The trick question she posed is WITCHCRAFT. And you dennis sucked right into it. "holy man".

IGNORANT LOSER? LOL... oh did I hit a nerve? LOL... SOOOO you think Jesus was an ANGEL? DIDN'T YOU READ THE POST? GIVE ME SCRIPTURE TO BACK THAT UP RETARD! Now tell me you moran, who is bastardizing CHRIST the SON of GOD not the angel of GOD but the SON of GOD? btw... ROFLMassO so I soppose you are one of those that also believe that Lucifer and Jesus are brothers... LOL... oh and one more thing, who the hell died and left YOU king? Your next pile of wolf crap here- "Now tell me you moran, who is bastardizing CHRIST the SON of GOD not the angel of GOD but the SON of GOD?" No one SAID He was not the Son of God, and no one SAID The Son of God is/was the brother of lucifer in this discussion BUT YOU. You specifically asked-- "Was JESUS an ANGEL?" The ONLY POSSIBLE ANSWER IS YES So come and show us why you think that is incorrect-- based SPECIFICALLY ONLY ON YOUR OWN STUPID TOTALLY MISLEADING QUESTION. Focus and then let these dummies off the hook. Witch. And not a very good one at that.

Your only reason for this post is to follow up on your bull crap you started with claudia and that much was clear from the instant anyone read the title to this post after reading what you did on HER post. Yet you still wish to perpetrate another LIE here in the vain attempt to deny it. Sooooooo- as I said-- your question isn't just "misleading" but was posted to sucker in people who would bash SDA and you could then agree with them. Guess what? Jesus was indeed an "angel". FIgger it out. You posted this stupidity without KNOWING? Ignorant lying loser.

Just like I would tell Mia, I don't beleive that Jesus was/is an angel and I only posted this blog so that I could have more scripture/cross references to show my friend that there is NO WAY JESUS was an ANGEL... maybe if you understood my motives for writing this blog you wouldn't be so quick to judge, but then again what would I expect from BC and the know it alls .. aka the RIGHTEOUS lol... Since you simply asked the question as it stood it never would have occurred to me (or anyone) why you were asking the question. Therefore all I could do was give you a straight answer as I saw it. Peter "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2 v 15
