Escape from the school zone...

I am sitting in my comfy chair relaxing after a long, tiring day at school. I felt like a hamster on the treadmill as I raced from one class to another and took two touch exams. I'm a little touchy right now because I stayed up all night till 6 a.m. to study and had an hour nap and then it was off to school to culture bacteria for a research project!

I have nothing to complain about, and after my last class at 9pm I turned on the worship music in my SUV and reflected for a moment on no matter how difficult my day had been, I have a lot to be thankful for.

I have three beautiful , a good mind to get top grades at school, I will be going to nursing school (something I've always dreamed of doing), I have no financial worries at the moment, I have a lot of good friends nearby, I have a wonderful church and I've met a great guy that I'm getting to know as a friend. I also have my health, and the most precious gift of all...life.

I never complain (sometimes I worry though) because when I think of all God has done for me this past year it is very obvious he has taken good care of me, as always, and showered me with abudant blessings beyond whatever I could have hoped for.

Thank you Lord...I love you so much!

Recently I went through a period of incredible blessing. I felt God's favour on me and it was awesome! Those blessings now carry me through the trials I am now under. God is so good, He kind of balances things out...the good with the bad...I guess so we don't become complacent! LOL! I'm a bit like you in that I tend to worry a little too! You have a great attitude to life...you go girl and God bless you!

It's only because of God that I have such an attitude. When I was young I used to be a nasty piece of work, as my mother used to say! It's amazing to look back and see hoe much you've changed. Peace...

AMEN!!!

The Lord is so amazing with His timing and awesome in His love! I am so happy for you! Attitude is so important... to everyone you are in contact with everyday... your family and kids, your fellow students and teachers, your church family and friends. Our attitude impacts them in a role modeling way. So speaking life in a positive word , and showing life in a positive action to them all is a 'christian in action'!

"Preach the gospel everyday, if necessary, use words". St Francis of Assisi

Peace and rest to you sister!!!

Let the SON shine!!!

Yeah, I am a pretty positive person, but I never used to be. I try to be as God would be to others and that has been my guiding light for the past 12 years.
