Peace during the Christmas Holidays

Even during the Christmas season, many continually encounter hardships. People disappoint us. We disappoint ourselves. But God is constant and compassionate. We are not alone. He cares. Against all reason, the transcendent God loves us so much that He has committed Himself to us. That's why Paul could proclaim, "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. for I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor heights, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"(Romans 8:37-39).

Let us keep the shelters and their occupants, and the needy in our prayers, asking God for their peace and safety in an often frightening world.

May God bless each of you

"Pray for blessings, not things."
